But the docs say that InRegionAbsolute is an alias for InRegion, and I have just checked that the absolute version does not pick up tracks.

No, there is only 1 external wire (wire in my control) between amp and cab, and I changed it. I used a cable in the 2 different 8ohm outputs (same issue) and then another cable and tried both outputs... same issue

Sorry to not be clear. This issue has occurred for a while (months). I've only just posted as it only occurs in my home studio. So day 1 in studio, it makes noise. Day 2 in rehearshal then no noise. Day 3 in studio it makes noise. Day 4 in rehearhsal, no noise etc :S

Would asking a question about such be on topic here?
