Q: Deleted all pc files, now he's does not start up

Windows userI have a windows home premium and he DOES NOT start up. I basically wanted to free up some more space on the computer.... I delete all the files...or at least all the ones I could. He won't start up, I can't go on safe mode or anything.. I'm stuck on repair mode. And I already did all the optio...

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to do that unless you're really dedicated
You have to change the ACLs first to give Administrators write/delete permission; only TrustedInstaller has those by default for system files IIRC

I thin ght eD in .DLL stands for DELETE :)
Could gave messed up in MBR/ntloader-ish files (assuming w7. Not sure about w10/uefo boots)
Or mounted the EFI system disk and deleted stuff.
But MS is making it harder to do sunch silly htings by accident

Ah, yes, that would do it, though I think messing with the EFI stuff would completely hose the installation (including the recovery environment)?

I have none. One working desktop with an UEFI install (and I am leaving that as is)
And one play desktop which will be played with... some day
Today I just rewired all the cables to the HDDs.
Put in identical 5.25 -> 3.5 inch brackets etc
It should be in a bootable condition. Not tested yet though.
Current state: (cables still not perfectly in the case)

Power outage. PC no longer starts. You know what, lets try moving jumpers. Maybe the power outage changed those!
