3:00 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ: naw, basically they're using it for decision making

Morning all

Bob
The Magic 8 Ball is a toy used for fortune-telling or seeking advice, manufactured by Mattel and developed in the 1950s. It is often used in fiction, often for humor related to it giving very accurate, very inaccurate, or otherwise statistically improbable answers. == Origin == An 8-ball was used as a fortune telling device in the 1940 Three Stooges short, You Nazty Spy, in which it was referred to as a "magic ball". While Magic 8 Ball didn't exist in its current form until 1950, the functional component was invented by Albert C. Carter, who was inspired by a spirit writing device that was used...

3:04 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ meh, taking over the world is boring. We actually like people. ;p

@JourneymanGeek only after you're conditioned to like them
"bad dog! RESPECT ME! SIT!"

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ: totally not the way things work here ;p

once you realize it's a control mechanism you'll rebel

Its closer to han and chewie, or R2 and C3PO ;p

oh haha
so sometimes you make random beeping noises and decide to wander off on your own in the desert for no good reason?

3:05 PM
Let the wookee win!
Close enough

Android 4.4.5 Incoming

(regular mini snauzers sorta squeek)

do you guys like that pen? I have one right now but I am thinking of getting another

Bob
@HackToHell Samsung user in Australia: No it's not.

Looks fancy

3:08 PM
MediaTek user here, the official supported version is 4.2.2

the thing about the ink flowing smoothly isn't a joke, it's really nice

(real question is do you like that pen?) ;p

Cyanogenmod FTW

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Holy shit that actually ships here...

you have to write at a slight angle, it tends to dry out if you write straight down, but it's nice
you don't have to do a lot of coaxing to get the ink to flow, and it's very sharp and precise

Bob
3:09 PM
Only $7 shipping too. (For Amazon to Sydney, that's amazing.)
Wow.

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ: refill refills or liquid ink refills?

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ When they say refillable, do they mean replace the tube + tip, or some kind of cartridge, or ink bottle?

ahh refill refills
tube + tip

Bob
:\
I'll stick with my FPs :P

meh, I think only noodler, maybe platinum and a few other make really refillable roller balls.

3:11 PM
still, the ceramic tip on it is great

and if its liquid ink, just stab it ;p

also "As Seen On TV Products" sells at a ridiculous shipping cost... $5.90 wtf

Bob
Oh yea, still need to give that bulletproof black a try sometime.
I don't write much these days :\

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ: and if you call now...
;p
@Bob: same here

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ As for FPs, a softer tip (e.g. gold) is often preferred, because it shapes itself to your writing style more :P

3:12 PM
the image is wrong on this one: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0017JG24Q
I have the bronze one and I guarantee you that is not bronze
WTF...
the next Nexus device is rumored to be a 5.9" Motorola phone o_O
5.9" is huge for a phone. and Moto? and Nexus?
I'm dubious. its CPU and battery will likely be anemic.

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ: meh, the moto G X and E are essentially Nexusy.

wait. Moto V? wut?

my bad. E

Its late ;p

3:16 PM
I was like WUT DO YOU KNOW THAT I DONT

and hm

I have a sudden uncontrollable urge to write, but I have nothing to write right now :S

Bob
o.O

I may want/need to get a reasonably priced. comfy headset

Bob
3:17 PM
So... my SIM card literally runs Java?

@Bob jjjava ?

@Bob known that for a while ;p
it's a very cut down version of Java, but yeah
it's also pretty proprietary, nothing like OpenJDK
Oracle-licensed blah

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ I think I came across it before, but I forgot.
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Now the question: why?

hell, certain credit cards do Java

maybe the time it was made?
Java was the big thing.

Bob
3:18 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ ...That explains the dodgy ad.

GlobalProvider (the stack that does smart cards, YubiKey, and tons of other very tiny ICs for security / processing / financials) also is Java based afaik

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Does it have a vm in there or something
I don't get it

Bob
For some reason, I'm horrified that they'd run (a variant of) Java on such constrained embedded systems.

@HackToHell it runs an OS with no virtual memory; it's an embedded system with essentially no kernel... the Java Virtual Machine there IS the operating system

Bob
Can't find any embedded systems programmers?

3:19 PM
also, since it's basically a RTOS, they don't use GC, AFAIK.

also arn't most sim cards made by the same company?

there's explicit heap deallocation procedures

@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ But why ?

Bob
You'd think this would be the kind of thing they'd write in assembly, or at least most C.

Yeah, C seems the obvious choice to noob me.

Bob
3:20 PM
Or use an ASIC.

@Bob people know Java... and Java is just a language like any other with syntax... the thing to realize is that the implementation of the runtime on that platform is so cut-down that it actually works (and is testable, and verifiable, etc)

@JourneymanGeek Ah yeah... The less adapters I use between source and destination the disrupted is signal quality? For example, for convenience I could use RCA cable for digital decoder that is placed on top of cupboard and attach RCA adapter to connect to destination.

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ I still think an ASIC would make more sense for something as specialised as a SIM card.

just saying the word "Java" means very little until you qualify what exact runtime is operating under the hood, given that it runs on anything from a no-VirtualMemory-RTOS, to a server with 1 TB+ of RAM serving billions of records

@Boris_yo: eh, and the less the cabling

3:21 PM
@Bob ASICs make things inflexible and non programmable for the future, though

keep it simple unless you need to

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ You planning to reprogram a SIM card?

@Bob well, I actually did reprogram my YubiKey. I literally installed a new .jar file on it to make it work with the Google Authenticator app.
the jar was all of 2 KB.

I so want this now dx.com/p/…

Bob
I'm talking specifically about SIM cards here, though.
One of those things that really hasn't changed in over a decade, and doesn't get reprogrammed.
Hm. Well, they do have limited storage for a PIN/PUK and contacts. But the program code should never need to change.

3:23 PM
@HackToHell: may not work with newer sim cards IIRC

@Bob thing is, the SIM card standards were developed gradually on top of other existing standards a very long time ago (late 90s / early 2000s), and at the time, they really wanted reprogrammability, and platform independent programming language
and the code within SIM cards did have to change for the rollout of LTE, especially on networks where they support legacy 3G/CDMA at the same time
and it'll probably change again for VoLTE

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ They could have transitioned to ASICs at some point, though.
Should be lower power consumption too.
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ No, any given SIM card didn't change.
They replaced the cards wholesale.

@Bob: or as they recontracted

> SIM toolkit applications were initially written in native code using proprietary APIs. In order to allow interoperability of the applications, Java Card was taken as the solution of choice by ETSI. Additional standards and specifications of interest are maintained by Global Platform.

Bob
When you have tens or hundreds of thousands of those things being manufactured, it's easy to justify making it an ASIC.

3:25 PM
but yeah, sim cards were never reprogrammed

Global Platform, yeah, that's the same thing that's behind my work badge (which I stick into a card reader to sign into PC, as well as to enter the building), and my YubiKey, and even large swaths of NFC

@JourneymanGeek These Chinese adapters/converters do not work 100% on all devices. I bought 2 LAN cable retracting gadgets and they both did not work between my DELL and lenovo laptops.

@Bob it's called complying with standards and has nothing to do with efficiency/performance/whatever else you want to argue... the standards are there, and have way too much momentum to be bumped off the wagon at this point

@Boris_yo: eh, in your case it may be a more fundamental issue - it might just suck

especially with things like Isis Wallet popping up all over the place, which, NFC based, uses a lot of the same standards still

you want to try and implement the same protocols using assembly, you go right ahead... the rest of the world has standards for not only the protocols but the implementation within the embedded devices themselves

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ As long as the interface stays the same, the implementation of the hardware/firmware inside the card doesn't matter as much.

> Protecting your account since Jul 18, 2011.

Bob
The tooling would be an issue, yes.

@HackToHell: I need to set that up

Bob
3:27 PM
But with the recent transitions from micro to mini to nano... that could have changed.
Meh.

@JourneymanGeek You haven't !

@Bob ETSI/Global Platform defines the standards for the implementation of the hardware/firmware, and AFAIK they have to certify devices on a case-by-case basis... good luck getting your hackjob ASIC certified when they've only been certifying JavaCards for the past decade

But it's your google account :O

@JourneymanGeek Fundamental? You mean laptop or case-related issue?

@Boris_yo: means the cables are faulty
@HackToHell: I SHOULD

Bob
3:28 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ That's more of a legal thing, then. From a technical standpoint, as long as your interface behaves identically then the hardware/firmware really doesn't matter.

I spend so much time firefighting I never get around to things like that
or having distinct passwords for everything on a password manager

Bob
You could implement it in Ada on (compiled to?) x86 for all the difference it makes (if you could fit an x86 proc in there etc etc)

@Bob the technical aspects are less important than the compliance/testing/certification for this industry, because it's the compliance that determines that your device isn't going to, say, transmit the user's bank account number or CVV2 code to your server, or something like that

@JourneymanGeek Do it now

@HackToHell: yeah, I should ;p
(I never really used my phone till this one so...)

3:31 PM
interestingly, one of the relevant ETSI standards related to Nano SIMs doesn't reference the word "Java" anywhere in the document: etsi.org/deliver/etsi_ts/102200_102299/102221/11.00.00_60/…
doesn't mean that's the only standard applicable, though

3:43 PM
hello
I am using windows 7 on my desktop and when I turn on my PC i get no screen
it is like the GPU is not sending a signal to my monitor

Bob
Trying to download Roslyn:
> Files can be downloaded using File Transfer Manager (FTM), which is compatible with Windows 98SE and later. In addition, FTM enables you to download a group of files, pause, and resume your download in case of interruption. Learn more on the File Transfer Manager Web site.
...why on earth would I want to run this on Win98
More to the point, is it so hard to provide a plain HTTP download??

@Bob I think they're trying to say the FTM runs on Windows 98SE and later; if the FTM could ever serve a file that would actually run usefully on Win98, then it could be used for that purpose

Bob
The page design looks like it was last updated in 1998 too.
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Sure, but it seems like an utterly pointless note on the Roslyn download page.

@Bob if FTM was last maintained / facelifted around the Vista era, I could understand how Win98SE would still be a significant concern for supporting that platform

Bob
> ©2006 Microsoft Corporation.

3:47 PM
FTM is too close to RTFM

release of Vista ==> XP still VERY relevant; Win98SE on the periphery like XP is now

if I turn my pC off a lot bu holding the power button is that bad?

Bob
The Win98SE note appears on the Roslyn download page
This is for the C# 6.0 preview... which has absolutely nothing to do with Win98, except that it's not gonna run there.

@Bob meh. copy and paste probably

Bob
> File transfer is starting. For Windows users, a separate File Transfer Manager will start.
!!no

Bob
brb switching user agent

@Vader harmless, unless you do it during a BIOS update or a major Windows update, or have write caching on a non-BBU RAID controller

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Not harmless, you could end up corrupting pretty much any file that's in use.

alright, thanks

@Bob journaling... I mean you won't corrupt any files; worst case you get an older version of a file

Bob
3:49 PM
NTFS itself should be fine (journaled), but a lot of programs won't be happy about losing power halfway through a write.
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ No. NTFS journaling only guarantees the FS metadata is fine. It doesn't preserve file data in the same way.

what programs are running during start up?

key point is, your OS should still boot if you hold down the power button a lot... the FS is designed to recover from it, and Windows itself is also designed to recover from it, even during an update (see WRP)
@Vader that's a question that we rather would ask you -- that depends entirely on your configuration

I just re installed windows 7

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ The OS should be fine, but a lot of applications won't be particularly happy.

the problem persists
I think I need a new GPU

3:51 PM
@Bob it also guarantees that if a file data write transaction was only partially committed to disk (e.g. poweroff during a sync()), the partial commit is rolled back to the previous version of the file

Bob
@Vader ...you never mentioned a problem

My screen are blank

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Yes, but a write transaction as seen by the FS is entirely different from a write transaction as seen by a program. I could write half a valid XML file before the power loss, and anything flushed/synced to the disk will stay there. File is now corrupt. Oh, it's fine as far as the FS is concerned, but the program ain't reading it.

not black, blank, not sure if the GPU is sending a signal to the monitor

@Bob a program should never write to a file in a way that will cause the program to break or the user to lose data, in such a way that they either (1) call sync() when the transaction isn't fully complete, or (2) not call sync() when the transaction is fully complete
the NTFS 5-second periodic sync() is a filesystem design flaw you have to work around
but the basic contract between the OS/FS and program is that sync() IS your transaction mechanism

Bob
3:54 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Doesn't it automatically flush after you've written some amount of data? Or was that something else.

my keyboard mouse light up though

Bob
Anyway, the only real guarantee given by NTFS journaling is that the FS metadata won't be left in a bad state. As soon as you depend on random application programmers doing the right thing, you cannot provide any guarantees.

if my GPU is fryed should the fan still be spinning?

@Bob two things: one, without explicitly calling sync(), it is not supposed to commit a transaction (the journal will still consider the file dirty); two, NTFS itself will periodically basically force everybody on the system to sync() their data (thus committing all the metadata) every 5 seconds, which IMHO is broken
EXT4 exposed a fuckton of program bugs a few years back when they turned off EXT4's periodic sync functionality
programs were doing write()s without calling sync at the appropriate time
you'd lose tons of data upon reboot
at that time EXT4 was actually correcting its semantics to operate correctly per the standard

Bob
@Vader How did you reinstall the OS without a display?

3:56 PM
but people were relying on the periodic sync (which is wrong) to take care of their brokenness for them

it worked then
just not now
I installed it b/c this was happening every 2nd boot

you shouldn't rely on a broken feature to make your program work correctly; your program should comply with the standard to begin with

now it seems to happen all the time

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Eh, I personally prefer (in the .NET world) to just use the .WriteAll* APIs.

@Bob WriteAll is tantamount to doing a Write loop, then Flush at the end
if that were done on a FS that is compliant with the standard contract for FS I/O, if you wrote 78 out of 100 MB and powered off the system before it Flushed, you'd lose the entire transaction and the file would revert to the state it was at before you started

Bob
3:58 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Yes, but it also makes it impossible to keep a stream open (and reuse?) longer than necessary.

if you did it on NTFS, and it happened to do the periodic sync in the middle, you'd end up with whatever broken corrupted thing results from it

Bob
Easier to do the right thing.

@Bob that's what using is for
and in case you don't like the "block" style of using for single statements, you don't have to use braces

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ shrug That works too.

I think using(initialize your stream here) blah(); should automatically call yourStream.Close(); after blah();

4:00 PM
on the back of my PC there are two DVI slots blocked off

or if you have multiple statements, you could just put them all on one line in braces if you're lazy :P
using(init) { blah1(); blah2(); }

I think they are from the motherboard

Bob
I'm doing more full file text replacements recently, so .WriteAll* is the more intuitively correct one. But if I were building data to output, then using + .Write would be preferred.

i7 should have a built in GPU right?
not very good but better than nothing

@Vader i7 what? depends on the specific model

Bob
4:01 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ It calls .Dispose, which should call .Close or otherwise dispose of any unmanaged resources.

i7 2600k

yeah, that one has a built-in GPU
your mobo might also not have the display headers (it's rare but possible)

Now I need to find a way to get the covers of them , they are fixed shut with a torque screw

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Ugh. I'm rather annoyed at Intel's marketing right now. Would've made everything much easier if they just went i2x, i3x, i4x, etc.

i3, i5, i7, not a big deal

4:02 PM
@Bob or skip the "i" entirely and just go Core2, Core3, Core4, etc

Bob
@Vader What's your motherboard model?
The P67-chipset ones don't have onboard GPU support, regardless of the CPU.

I thought it would've been perfectly logical since chronologically the "successors" to the P4 started out with "Core Duo/Solo", then "Core 2 Duo/Solo/Quad", etc

Bob
@Vader It's a very big deal. There's a world of difference between a Nehalem and Sandy Bridge CPU, and likewise between Sandy Bridge and Haswell. (Ivy Bridge is also different, but not as much.)

besides, the enthusiast branding would be supremely awesome sounding under that scheme :D
Ivy-E hexacore would be "Core 6 NNN Hexa" :D

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ NNNNNNGNH
Sorry, I had to :P

4:04 PM
"Core 7 790 Octa" for Haswell-E top-end ;p

watch out, guys; his mobo isn't just a mobo, it's a MOBO (Motherboard Out of a Bollywood Otherworldly experience?)
his mobo should get up and do Indian dancing.
> 2 DVI ports (DVI-I and DVI-D)
> *Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed.
CSB... love that BIOS robustness! :D

"so I have to remove my graphics card to use the integrated graphics?"

4,5 have coers on them
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ do I?

4:07 PM
@Vader um, so why not remove the covers?

they are screw in with torque screws
I only have the - and + screw drivers

@Vader ok? and you don't have a TORX screwdriver?

nope

sorry, but I'm afraid the solution here is buy a TORX screwdriver
I can't think of any other alternative

Bob
"torque screws" o.O

4:08 PM
uggh
I hate hardware

Bob
Everyone should have a complete screwdriver set! :P

software problems are so much easier

I haven't really been following your conversation so far, so I have no idea if there is something wrong with your discrete GPU, but my thought would be that if your goal is to use the IGP, you are going to need a TORX screwdriver; the "alternative" is to somehow fix (or replace) your GPU
if you aren't even getting a BIOS screen when you try to use the discrete GPU, then it's likely dead; though, you should check your connectors (make sure it's slotted correctly and has the PCIe connectors installed and you have enough power)

brb, driving to hardware store

Bob
O.O
The... Roslyn has a Readme.hta
HTAs are still a thing?!

4:10 PM
@Bob if you were to ask that question to any of my coworkers, they would look at you with a stunned expression as if to say, "you can make GUIs with something other than HTAs...?"

Bob
-_-

well. some of them would say "oh, we can do without HTAs if we make InputBox and MsgBox in VBScript! ^_^"

Bob
> Install the Visual Studio 2013 SDK if not yet installed.
You know what. I give up. I just decided I don't need Roslyn or C# 6.0.

@Bob the hard dependency on professional versions of VS for these CTPs is fairly infuriating
IIRC, the .NET Native was the same

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ Oh, I have VS2013Ultimate installed (yay DreamSpark)

4:12 PM
hopefully, .NET Native the production release will work with VS Express, or better yet, just be part of the .NET Runtime itself, like the regular compiler

Bob
I just cbf installing another thing to use it

@Bob how does the Visual Studio 2013 SDK differ from VS2013Ultimate? it lets you develop actual extensions to VS2013?
> answers own question as asking it
I hate to sound complacent, but .NET 4.0 and the equivalent C# support is good enough for just about everything I could possibly need, now and in the future
I'm so deprived of programming facilities in VBScript that .NET 4.0 (any language really) is like heaven
"you mean I get genericized ArrayLists and Dictionaries?! with robust methods like sorting and extension methods?! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
very important edit above ^ think-o

Bob

oh goodie, another image I can't see without logging into ChatSEy on my phone
brb, getting my lunch out of the fridge

Bob
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ :(
Chuck that in an HTML file and view locally :D

4:21 PM
@Bob I need my bot to recognize some blacklisted imagehosting domains and auto- upload them to a non blacklisted host or smth.

Bob
Now we just need a userscript to scrape gists for data URIs and embed them :D

@Bob no i just pasted it into FF addressbar lol

Bob
o.O

Bob
TIL

4:23 PM
mmmm, cold pizza
with a parmesanny, olive oily crust

I got it
now, should I unplug the GPU before trying to use the built in GPU?
I will 1st try without
nope
that didn't work
now it works
when I take out the GPU and use the builtin
great the highest res for this is 1280x1024
not sure if my GPU is broken though
how can I check
is it a good idea to plug the GPU back in while the PC is on?
I guess not
oops

Bob
4:45 PM
@Vader Install the correct drivers for a higher res.
@Vader If in doubt, power it off.

5:03 PM
@Vader it can definitely support higher, you just need the latest Intel graphics drivers as Bob said
considering your OS booted and works with the IGP, I'm certainly starting to doubt the working state of your GPU at this point...

Woohoo, beat a dark room in only 1 1/2 days

Bob
@CanadianLuke Why are you beating dark rooms? What do you have against them?

Cause I'm mean that way

Bob

I will try the new drivers
the fan of the GPU was still spinning

Bob
5:13 PM
Fan spinning has little to do with the state of the GPU itself, or the state of the graphics RAM.

the last time the GPU worked it gave me this
display driver stopped responding and has recovered
oh man I will be pissed if the GPU is borken, it is a 580
if I have to get a new GPU I will have to get a whole new PC
the last major thing I did before this GPU madness happened was install linux mint
I just opened up my GPU
the thermal paste is not touching the boar dwhich is good
so I did not short circuit it
alright, at least I got the 1080 back
I wonder if I can use the IGP as my display dirver
and the gtx 580 for the rest
anyway, thanks for the help

5:36 PM
could my dirver just be messed up?

@Vader possible, but if you aren't even seeing the BIOS screen with the GPU plugged in, it's likely not software-related.
@Vader if the GTX 580 still initializes but only its display output is broken, you could use it for OpenCL and for off-surface rendering in DirectX, but I don't think it would be very efficient (performance-wise) to run shaders on the GTX and copy the results through system memory to the IGP. and you'd have to write a driver to do that
there is a similar technology out there (Nvidia Optimus, AMD Fusion, etc) for laptops, and also some motherboards (desktop) have LucidLogix Virtu MVP, which is similar, but it has a dedicated (PCI Express, I think) conduit for the copying of buffers from the discrete card to the IGP.
Virtu MVP is okay when it works but you'd have to buy a mobo that has it ...
and that's assuming the only thing broken with your GPU is its display header.
(and that the GPU core is fine)
is it within warranty?

5:59 PM
@ÃŁŁǫǛȉЖΦΤїҪ After opening it and possibly replacing the thermal paste? I should hope not,.
(Even though that sucks when it happens to you)

@Hennes heh, right. good point. it MAY have been under warranty before, but now it's not :D

6:33 PM
That awkward moment when Satan is a perfectly acceptable option for your kids.

@Hennes I love it!

I just lack kids. But that means I will have to work a bit harder on making them.

It's easy making kids... You just need a willing participant, and knowing you won't sleep for many more years :P

I know. I got a friend who has a few months old baby.
It is fun seeing them once per week (and watching the kid grow rapidly).
But I do not have to get up every two hours at night when the kid want something to drink

Exactly!

6:42 PM
@CanadianLuke it sounds like a nice thing when you're having fun, but as soon as you realize, it's like, "DEAR GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?!"

And hence, this will be my last kid

it's like putting $2500 of debt on a credit card that you won't be able to repay for a decade, except much worse
when you get your $2500 goodie it seems nice
after that, not so much

... So, where did you find a baby for only $2,500?
2

@CanadianLuke they're selling them at Walmart with the "unlimited poo plan" for $150 down payment... you pay the remaining $2350 over the next 18 years in diapers, clothes, insurance, etc ;p

Ahhh... Yea, you don't know how much they cost...

6:48 PM
ofc you have to deal with the unmetered poo emanating from the thing

Plus child support, plus new clothes every few months for the first couple years, plus trips to extended family so they can see him/her, daycare (unless the mom is on welfare), food/drinks, bottles, special dishes or utensils, high chair, jolly jumper, toys (yes, I play with them too... But they're "technically" the kid's), crib/bed, dresser, toy bins, stroller, car seat (until they're 1 year old), booster seat (1-9years old), etc
