@JourneymanGeek 2? that is what the guy said also, it is 2 items, but it is just a control wire to ground. so electrically i think of it as the control only is sent to ground. In a simple discussion it is "connect 2 wires together"
@JourneymanGeek I could bold the warning, or put in the word warning, because the shock yourself thing was just tossed into the paragraph of opening it. They dont scace me none because few of the caps used in them will hold a charge for time.
Ah, well, I've tried to configure Dante to do it, but it doesn't seem to be working.. serverfault.com/questions/616118/… (Yeah, asked the question on the wrong site. xP)
I'm having to switch between Windows, Mac and Debian all the time! Windows because I'm an artist and Wine just doesn't cut it. Mac because at my Art College they think Mac's are the way to go. And Debian because... I like Debian and do all my programming stuff with it.
(right now... Its an utterly mcgyvered combination of a chipping particle board desk with random holes drilled in it, metal A frame trestles (I LOVE these) and some L brackets and wood for the plug points (I have 8 sockets...) and lh4.googleusercontent.com/-SrpsmQsFik0/U58HXfZ2EHI/AAAAAAAAGMA/… holding my headphones...
Oh wait. I can stick the socks that don't fit anyone over that....
I understand that. I do that with art. It's hard to be relaxed when you're not doing anything productive. And it's hard to be relaxed when you have an ambitious/complex project. Doing something soothing and simple that you can just 'do it' is nice.
I've always been interested in electronics/engineering too rather than just the software side. I'd really like to start learning about proper reverse engineering and modding.
@Kate: At the moment, I have an ikea electric screwdriver, a Dremel, and a cheap dremel knockoff (that I got after my first dremel broke, and I couldn't afford a new one)
