@Neil you're gonna need a mobo upgrade either way. don't be fooled by the branding, the sockets are incompatible between a Westmere "i3" and a modern (Kaby Lake) i7.
Going with the LAN NAS, will solve the desktop pro hdd problem after that :-) the LAN would allow me to connect to my router and it would be just a device on the networks would have to plug the USB 3 into my pc

@JoeTaxpayer: no it doesn't make sense at all, because Solo was asked if the ship was fast. You can also make it in twelve parsecs if you're riding a space snail. — R. Martinho FernandesFeb 2 '11 at 1:12
@JourneymanGeek Seems like I'm making the edit review queue grow, ever so slowly as well. Only a few each day, and not too fast with most of the fixes either. Though they seem to get reviewed fast enough anyway.
You may be in luck because Outlook 2010's handling of IMAP is better than in previous versions but is still pretty stinky.
The first step is to hold the deleted messages that have the line through them. Ckick on View and then Change View and you'll see
Click the "Hide Mess..." button.

I want to be able to find text on the following awesome image and where the text is located in it. This is not the first time I stumbled upon such a challenge and probably many people have similar questions from time to time as well. I think this stands as a good instance of the general issue.

@JourneymanGeek so the original link was "i.imgur... and had been altered to "i.stack.imgur..."? If that's correct, I may know a lot of missing screen shots that can be fixed.
I thought it strange when I started running into a bunch of missing imgur images. Guess people started using it, then SE got things set up with them and the conversion dropped a bunch.
@JourneymanGeek user nicorellius has lots of images that were on his server http://nicorellius.com/images/..., and are now gone. Wonder if he has an ancient site backup?
I've had very little luck with that :(. most are 'robots.txt' blocked at crawl time. Or the 'save' was so late as to get the 404 anyway. Probably from when they crawled here and tried to load it themselves.
Found a funny imgur name. Most are some random alphanumeric name, this was "CWest". Ok, random can happen, but that's still weird.
Dropbox, imagebin, imagechicken are all missing files and that's a lot of the old ones :(
Nothing to fix, 90% of those are screenshots that I can't create, and the question can't live without. "looked like this.. now looks like that.. help!" WTF is "this" and "that"?
@Burgi Not sure. That's part of the guess work. Back then it was the reverse of 'code golf' we wrote a lot, the computer wrote cryptically , we had to guess what it meant. At least with assembly there was a 1:1 between written code and executed code.
@djsmiley2k I get that in Chrome on Linux all the time, in the browser itself rather than the content. The download list at the bottom and all the tooltips are worthless. Don't care enough to dig into a fix for it yet either.
@djsmiley2k Good to know from a web developer's stand point. Just another IE gotcha.
@Burgi How can I tell the difference between a real firefox and a skinned safari? It's under the MPL, which shouldn't be able to link to safari's rendering engine, should it?
