I called apple and I shit you not, they told me to do the following:
Reboot, hold eject until you hear the superdrive let go of the disc, turn the machine off, hold the mac horizontally with the superdrive facing away from you, and spin around violently so the disc flies out with centrifugal force

It worked.

@DavidPostill I added it a long time ago, kept the same url. At the time, the regulars said go for it. I'm ok with it being a ticker feed, regular message or gone at all, as long as it's the decision of the group as a majority.

Besides, very automated, I'm on a bus on my phone. I'm not posting myself

@CanadianLuke I'm happy to revert it back to a regular post if anybody grumbles :)

I'm not sure exactly how we would get a majority decision on anything in RA. Is there a mechanism for voting on such things?

Count the people who could be considered "regular" and try to get more than 50% of those people to agree to a thing?

me and @Rahul2001 ran a vote on the chatbot by just asking for stars on keep or leave
