11:01 PM
CI on ee58399 succeeded.

!!/pull

Restart: API quota is 2123.

hey, smokey idea: if we're going to try to catch NAAs, would a query for an answer posted by a 1-rep user containing question marks and/or certain keywords make a decent check?

Yes, but we aren't trying to catch NAAs

11:16 PM
[ SmokeDetector ] SmokeDetector started at rev 84e3705 (Undo1: Fix BeautifulSoup warning --autopull) (running on Undo's EC2)
Restart: API quota is 2088.

oh, i thought that was somewhere in the spec. ah well.

nope it's not
Fix BeautifulSoup Warning --autopull - THANK YOU, @Undo! That was pissing me off something fierce every time Smokey started heh

Should have done it months ago

mmm
well, we've only got the one last file that needs refactored for line lengths, other than that I think we're pretty much done with that refactor.
Onto the next huge refactor! *ports everything to Python3 and laughs evilly*

I've got the findspam update done, I'm just waiting for my Internet to come back so I can push it

11:26 PM
cool

Despite all the stories, tweeting at your ISP does not appear to make them want to fix it.

no, indeed not.
@ArtOfCode if it's not back in an hour let me know, I'll redo the findspam refactor and push that, then if all works, we can change the Flake8 settings in tox.ini to also check line length

mutter mutter terrible ISP mutter

we need a "Guide to contributing code" section on the wiki... or do we have that?

Why do we?

11:28 PM
@ThomasWard "write code, send PR"

@Undo if we turn on line length enforcement in PEP8 we need to make known to people to obey line lengths.
though, CI will fail for the PRs in those cases anyways
so bleh, probably not necessary.

They'll figure out of when status checks fail

Once we get it stabilized here, we'll just let Flake reject stuff

cool

11:42 PM
i hope Smokey's working...

> Would not be caught for title, body, and username.

makes sense
@ArtOfCode still down?

@ThomasWard yep

ouch.
@ArtOfCode well, in about an hour I'll be home and can stab things, if need be.
Just let me know.

11:58 PM
2 hours down so far. I'll be asleep in an hour, @ThomasWard

OK. I'll stab findspam.py later
once i'm home.
if you don't mind :)

You can do it yourself if you think it's urgent and should be done soon, or you can wait till my Internet gets fixed. Up to you :)
