It does not say you must have it to seek job, its just there to make it easier for high qualified people to come for interviews.
Oct 23, 2024 06:12
Job seeker visa is specifically related to high qualified people and experts:

Very Highly Qualified Workers
As a Highly Qualified Worker from a third country, you have the following options:

If you do not yet have a job offer, you can come to Austria to look for work for six months on a Job-Seeker Visa.

The law about work permit applications says specifically (at least for Bulgaria) that you are allowed to apply while already legally in the country. It does not specify more than say legally.
Oct 23, 2024 06:09
There needs to be some kind of. victimhood, force, coercion.
Oct 23, 2024 06:08
gm just because a job seeker visa exists, doesn't mean without it you are not allowed to seek jobs. It is imo just an opitimized visa. For Bulgaria specifically it says you are allowed to apply for 3 year job permit initially while you are in the country already. How is that supposed to work? Bulgaria doesn't have any job seeker visas.

Human trafficking is defined like this, if we are going to use wikipedia:

the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of th

The EU and Schengen has made it easy for people to move around, but when people use these regulations its human trafficking? Maybe there are laws being broken, but so far I don't understand which laws have been broken. Nobody can explain it to me spefically. I even asked a politician friend. He couldn't answer me except that "its bad and not allowed".
Oct 22, 2024 09:59
Or lets try this the other way around: I know there are tons of seasonal workers in the next country over. I run a facebook ad for my farm, I take 20 of them for my company and other companies. Am I a trafficker because I recruit from an EU country? Even though its specifically stated an applicant for long term permit can be in the country while applying?
Oct 22, 2024 09:57
Besides human trafficking implies there is a victim, but nevermind, I am only interested if this is truly illegal or if its just countries bending and twisting schengen and EU laws, to limit the free movement.
Oct 22, 2024 09:56
On top an application for long term work permit counts as visa extension, until a decision is reached.
Oct 22, 2024 09:55
Seasonal visa works like this: an employer registers you as a seasonal worker (its not a permit, its a registration), after that you get a schengen visa without limitations. At the same time regulations say, you are allowed to apply for a long term work permit while already in the country, as long as you are legally in the country.
These people do work as seasonal workers, it is not a lie. When they have a few free days or whatever they are allowed to visit any country, according to their visa. Regulation says you can apply for a long term work permit, unless you are illegally in the countr
Oct 21, 2024 21:23
@ave When people get temp visa for schengen without limitatons, then go to another country and apply there for 3 year work permit and receive it, what part of that is illegal or human trafficking?
Oct 20, 2024 06:33
@Dr.Snoopy waiting on work permit decision usually gives you the right to stay and wait on decision.
Oct 20, 2024 06:33
@jcaron to be unnecessarily exact seasonal workers can come on a C visa and be "registered", they do not get a work permit. Their registration can be denied though.
Oct 20, 2024 06:33
I understand that they don't check, but I am worried about the law in principle. The way our authorities present this is that if your workers do not return to their own country the same way they came, you will be to blame. Which doesn't seem right, if they go to another country, which gives them another visa how is this illegal?
Oct 20, 2024 06:33
What is an example of a visa issued by a schengen member, limited by countries? Even tourist visas seem to simply state "schengen" on the visa.

@LаngLаngС Id love to see usage data on ivermectin in Africa, and other countries, but where to find?
Sep 15, 2021 20:28
Yes there are, you just don't know about them because all you have read is this one study, that happens to exclude them.
Sep 15, 2021 20:28
Randomized trials are also not the threshold for using any particular therapeutic. Approving a new drug - yes, but this is not a new drug. Also ivermectin in particular has like 30 rcts showing benefits. There are some problems, but nothing in particular points to "not working", all the counter arguments boil down to "the data isn't perfect". its not perfect for other widely used drugs for covid either.
Sep 15, 2021 20:28
The big paper, that was retracted, the one with the fake data, is definitely not what kicked of the hype and there are many more. "Success in the field" is a corner stone of the ivermectin argument, so it's worth looking into. Id love to see some real data on which country uses how much ivermectin, even if I just have to take their word for it, when it comes to cases. Case measuring is already not an exact science, not even in the western world. We don't have anything better unfortunately.
Sep 15, 2021 20:28
Covid is being treated with all kinds of things all over the world. The perfect trial is not the threshold for using a particular therapeutic.
Sep 15, 2021 20:28
I think it boils down to how much, if any, ivermectin these and other countries are using right now. The 2015 date bothered me as well.

Jul 5, 2021 17:49
@LаngLаngС its unimportant in both cases as we want to err on the side of caution. Which means no stupid arguments about causality people. If it happened WITH the vaccine it happened FROM the vaccine, just like covid. Every side effect is causative until proven otherwise.
Jul 4, 2021 21:08
@terdon especially under 5 not exclusively. Covid is pretty harmless to most under 30. Very similar to the flu, on the younger side even more harmless than the flu. If you look at excess mortality it only registers significantly well into adulthood. And having symptoms for a couple of weeks is not a serious complication. That happens routinley with the flu too.
Jul 4, 2021 21:08
@Stilez the bar to pass is not "something of note" but being significantly worse than the flu, which nobody cares about.
Jul 4, 2021 21:08
@Stilez thats nonsense. CDC: For young children, especially children younger than 5 years old, the risk of serious complications is higher for flu compared with COVID-19. However, serious COVID-19 illness resulting in hospitalization and death can occur even in healthy young children.
Jul 4, 2021 21:08
@Stilez I would say covid is mostly harmless for most youngish healthy adults and very fatal for a specific group of older, unhealthy people. This is what makes it so devious. People can't grasp the complexity.
Jul 4, 2021 21:08
This claim or similar has been made for a long time by many people. This is the first study I see making it, but the claim is not limited to this study.

8l is not high at all. If you do any kind of city driving you will be at 8l very easily. I drive a Nissan Qashqai and it is at 8.3 avg.

Oh ok, I do not have that function. Does it make sense to simply apply the flexseed oil over the current, spotty seasoning, or do I absolutely have to get rid of the old seasoning first?
Jan 15, 2019 21:03
Thanks, I will try that, I even happen to have flexseed oil on hand. I am surprised that high temperature would remove the seasoning. I thought high temperatures are good for seasoning?

Sep 17, 2018 01:19
And I am telling you that they can do whatever they want with you. "Everyone with a different experience, than my friend must be mentally ill". No, its just random and a lot depends on luck, sympathy, race etc.
Sep 17, 2018 01:19
It's actually not as easy. They can just deny you help on a whim, give you an appointment in 8 weeks (when it will be too late), make you sleep in a shelter, etc. If you think that "you are entitled to have the gov pay your rent, just need to fill a form" its not like that at all.

Feb 13, 2018 01:39
@SoylentGray That is wrong, it is a part of the question.

Please stop vandalising the tags. I don't know what drives people to delete the Israel tag, when the current negotiation about this law is happening between Poland and Israel. It should obviously be tagged Poland and Israel.
