I was completely sure I answered this question when it was on -3 (for waffles hat), but now I see the count on that question is of -2/+5, so I think someone backed down on his vote and now I won't be getting the hat (which is not ok, because I did answer the question when it was on -3)

yeah, I guess I could get that hat on a different site (maybe Workplace or Science Fiction), but on Stackoverflow it is kind of impossible
