I do think there is some kind of repetition time cycles that go on, just not sure how exactly that works. Yug, chaturyugs, kalp are some kind of general broad indication of those. Just like there is some kind of hierarchy of higher level gods, of course. But people arguing whether to call the OG ones as Shiv or Vishnu which is just ridiculous semantics. I take lots stuffs w/ a grain of salt & I go for more analogy type interpretations of many stories. But yug going on, chaturyugs, kalp, repeating universe are talked about in so many Hindu texts. I just take it literally. Could be a large mistake in understanding 😳 I can’t figure out if yuga cycles are a historical measurable thing or if it’s more analogy and illustrative rather than actual. Free will & time cycles in Hindu texts are big time making me lose sleep these days 😭
