Martin, I'm gonna post the post
Feb 3, 2021 19:10
personally I don't like that and confuses me in general, rather than help me in reading english. But perhaps for someone that doesn't know the very very basic of english
Feb 3, 2021 19:06
Martin, do you think it's worth to mention on meta the option of translation of the site (using google translate, or it is to meh ) to a different language other than english ?

You're right, it's actually on topic but duplicated. I've mentioned that to OP
Jul 6, 2020 18:41
oh no no no, I searched on math.stack and not meta
Jul 6, 2020 18:37
@JoséCarlosSantos it was deleted by OP.. meh
Jun 20, 2020 21:42
@XanderHenderson Thanks for the helpful feedback
Jun 20, 2020 21:41
Which looked somehow weird
Jun 20, 2020 21:38
@XanderHenderson aha. Actually it was 123$\times 10^{-6}$ the MathJax was needed on \times and ^
Jun 20, 2020 21:34
@XanderHenderson Yes, you're right. That was directly from code, a copy-paste. For some reason I didn't think on using code style..
Jun 20, 2020 21:27
@XanderHenderson ah, I thought \times was ok instead of * which disappeared in the format. I didn't know that the 32 points needed to be in code style.

@MartinSleziak :) Ok ok Martin!
Jun 18, 2020 22:02
Could you rollback to my edit in this math.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/1406741 ? or re-edit?
Jun 18, 2020 22:01
@XanderHenderson Ok, thanks. Yes:), I know that one should not include \left or \right on titles
Jun 18, 2020 21:09
Jun 18, 2020 21:09
Is there a problem on using \big before parenthesis on titles? Personally I see it better. See:
Jun 18, 2020 21:08
I have a question
Jun 15, 2020 17:19
@XanderHenderson oh ok, thanks. Yes the title was stretched, I thought would be better to be as explicit as possible and hence adding the condition y\in[0,1]
Jun 15, 2020 17:07
Why was my edit rejected math.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/1404307 ? I edited the title: How to solve this equation ? (hard analysis problem) to How to solve $ f(y) \int_0^1 \frac{e^{-\frac{(x-y)^2}{2}}}{\int_0^1 e^{-\frac{(x-z)^2}{2}} f(z) dz} dx =1\quad y \in [0,1]$?

I have a question

Hello
Apr 18, 2020 00:18
strange :)
Apr 18, 2020 00:17
Indeed says Page no found but if one clicks on user profile displays 602 points on math.stack
Apr 18, 2020 00:07
@Mathphile huh nop, not always like this

@XanderHenderson I'm sorry I didn't mean to bother
May 14, 2020 01:16
@XanderHenderson Got it. All clear now.
May 13, 2020 22:58
@XanderHenderson I know, but my question was for the last version, the one with attempt. So again: if the question above would have a descriptive title (no MathJax) would have you agree on having it on the HNQ?
May 13, 2020 20:50
I meant "descriptive" not descriptive.
May 13, 2020 20:43
@XanderHenderson "I find clickbaity links or question titles offensive." I think you are taking it too personal. I don't think it's intentional, not in the particular case above. On the other side, you might be right for some other cases. Question: if the question above would have a descriptive title (no MathJax) would have you agree on having it on the HNQ?
May 12, 2020 21:56
@MattSamuel idk, perhaps would be better to ask on meta. I read his question (1st version) and saw no problem at all regarding 'potentially bad keyword in body'
May 12, 2020 21:47
@XanderHenderson "(1) bait for the HNQ" is this bad/negative?

because also the user included 2 inappropriate links
Apr 18, 2020 19:42
@quid Oh ok. You're welcome. I should have taken a screenshot so that you could see exactly. but well..
Apr 18, 2020 15:48
but then I did notice that this user changed his profile text to a more 'acceptable one' and removed the one quoted. Now, my flag was helpful but I don't if it was because of the first version or the second version of his profile. Just to note that, don't think I was overreacting with my flag note/message, i wrote that because of the first version of his profile text info
Apr 18, 2020 15:48
Hello. I have a question, Do moderators can see what have been on the profiles? // The thing is that, hours ago I saw a profile of a user and among a lot of unpleasant things to read, there was this "I created coronavirus to kill millions of people", so I flagged and explained a little about it
Apr 13, 2020 18:57
@amWhy you know what, you can do anything that you want, ping me here and there.. say anything you want, here and there... I don't care.
Apr 13, 2020 01:28
@amWhy i'll appreciate if you don't ping me, thank you
Apr 13, 2020 01:17
@BillDubuque what the... I've just seen you profile
Apr 13, 2020 00:58
@BillDubuque This is how I see it. Mods started this thread, they established their rules.. fine. Lets respect it. Even if one of them don't deserve our respect
Apr 13, 2020 00:53
@BillDubuque are you going to post about your complaint?
Apr 13, 2020 00:48
it's fine, another thread it's not a big deal
Apr 13, 2020 00:48
@BillDubuque
Apr 6, 2020 21:54
anyway I know you are on their side, I can see why too, so it's pointless to keep talking.
Apr 6, 2020 21:52
