my monitors new cable is 3mm too big to fit in the port because of this plastic shell around the port that's very thin and flimsy

Hi I don't exactly know where to ask this but what's the easiest way to shorten a thin piece of hard plastic by 3mm?

how can i get it to look consistently baked?

it's baking at 350F with a metal baking tray that is oiled a bit

ive been baking oatmeal cookies for a while but a problem i have is that the bottom turns brown but the top is still white and if i leave it until the top turns golden the bottom gets really dark/almost burnt
