Make an account on TurnItIn - the uni must have access for the supervisor to have used it. Or get the supervisor to "download" the turnitin comments and highlights - all possible as I have used it myself.

@AidaPaul you might find it easier to get your legal questions resolved on the Legal Stack.

So re the lack of demand: if numbers are low for a particular package and the profit margin is low then they will not produce. Just because YOU have a need will not make it so.

There are several posts about those who wrote short scripts to press the shift key to fool some managers... But the real question is is "uptime" an effective kpi? or would a ratio of errors per x lines of code be better?

It was just a thought, given the comments this was made (by me) as part of brain storming.

So a cable for the load, two for the current and then two pipes to run coolant !

@user174174 Ever used it? Just sounds like you are such an expert.

I ordered concrete for a floor where we had a thickness limit. The company suggested adding chopped fibres (like nylon) about 2 to 3" long to the mix as that would make it more resistant. Seemed to work fine for us.

You will need "thick" copper on the pcb not thin... then why not calibrate some of that copper and use the voltage drop across that?

Has a neighbor started to steal electricity? any extension cables plugged in?

Jul 30, 2022 08:54
@Arriel made exactly the same point about the coworker being jealous... But mine got deleted by someone - wonder why that was ...

Jun 30, 2022 21:18
Much shorter question: "should I commit tax evasion"?

Jun 20, 2022 15:43
If you want to spend money & time fine. My son has battery power with solar panels for his electricity and a solar charge controller controls the input and turns off the output when the battery voltage is too low.

@MichaelHarvey first transfer of electricity from France to UK was in 1961. So if you think I am kidding, then consider they had to have the voltages agreed before closing the switches...
Jun 18, 2022 20:22
UK & EU "harmonized" the electricity standards so EDF could sell in UK...

There are so many questions about people keeping personal life *off of work computers / laptops. Make the effort to give it back.

So summed over a week, when short a "short" is covered by a long week?

May 30, 2022 03:12
@DanielR.Collins and many websites do that as well.
May 30, 2022 03:12
@DanielR.Collins also common use in many other countries.

Depends on the law, but often the bats will have more rights to your attic than you do. Had bats where I worked and the only way we could continue was for me to get a bat license, which came with lots of conditions.
May 22, 2022 00:44
Bats may be a protected species - suggest you check.

If IT has done it for others in the company, then get them to do it for you. See your Boss and/or HR as needed. Do NOT change your name on other systems which could affect tax etc.

I would remove the plug for the microwave and see if the problem disappears.

Mar 24, 2022 00:32
Q1 yes in some countries. Q2 yes. Q3 yes, possibly.

Mar 17, 2022 18:23
4 q&a are linked - especially relevant to your second question. Also, telling us which country you are in may be highly relevant.

Send out an offer to Fred at a rate of 7* for the direct relationship - all is fair in love and war ie business. Stan has shown that to you.
Dec 14, 2021 16:34
So that's easy. New rates in the New Year for Stan. Even for "training". 2018 was a long time ago.
Dec 14, 2021 16:34
You could be "too busy" to solve any problems related to the migration as you have "other work" and let Stan solve the problems...
Dec 14, 2021 16:34
Code in a watermark that is invisible to Stan…

Is that 100kWh all usable?

Many places work 24/7/365, but they schedule the workers / teams to do 4 / 5 / 5.5 or 6 days so they get complete cover. Not too difficult.

Produce a set of office cartoons using the author as the subject. If they find it annoying they may begin to understand what they did.

So you plan to dump sewage into the ground when the groundwater level is 7ft. Ever heard of pollution?
Oct 14, 2021 19:47
Water from sinks and showers is called grey water, water from toilets is called black water. Both are called sewage. If you understand the difference then you should clarify, in the original question not in a comment, what you are dealing with.
Oct 14, 2021 19:47
Sand is used in filters… So you really need to explain your situation clearly ´cos it’s muddy at the moment.

Why not volunteer to do their job with them for 2 months and THEN come to them with suggestions. See "Experts" before who have fancy ideas that never work or waste time...
Oct 9, 2021 00:07
You sound just like some of the experts I have worked with. Good luck.

Oct 5, 2021 19:45
You quoted a 50mph crash, I quoted another. Both are valid as singular occurrences but you need to understand statistics - evaluate the thousands, even millions, of crashes over years to see the results of your proposed changes.
Oct 5, 2021 19:45
As for modifying, most car modders can get access to rolling roads to evaluate power changes or Tapley meters. But access to crash test dummies and high speed recording equipment is a different game.

Did you read all my comments? Was the English not clear enough? Try re-reading "perhaps the best improvement would be to get everyone to wear them”.
Oct 5, 2021 19:45
No, I had a head on without a belt, but I bent the steering wherl as I kept my arms locked.
Oct 5, 2021 19:45
I’m voting to close this question because it is a design question, not maintenace or repair.
Oct 5, 2021 19:45
What would be the injury without a seatbelt?
Oct 5, 2021 19:45
Perhaps the best improvement would be to get everyone to wear them and next, get people off their phones while driving.
