Q: Manager faked my experience to get projects from a client

AsishPLEASE NOTE :- The answers given here does not answer my question, as it does not mention the problems that I have been through. I am in a very similar situation as the OP of this question. Unlike the OP of the question link, I was forced to take that interview with the client, as the manager did...

PHP and Java are the same languages, only different syntaxes What -- wait, what? I can't even.
@gnat Your link does not answer my question -How can I make sure that the unethical behaviour of the current company does not in any way hamper my career ?
@A.I.Breveleri Comes from someone with 28 years of exp.
4 q&a are linked - especially relevant to your second question. Also, telling us which country you are in may be highly relevant.
@Asish It sounds like they have more experience lying than anything else. Aside from the fact that "same languages with different syntax" doesn't even make sense on the surface, PHP and Java are very, very different languages. They have quite little in common. I'm glad that you've decided to quit as it sounds like your employer is a pathological liar.

Are we sure this guy has 28 year of experience? He could be lying about that as well.
What is "DSA"? None of "Digital Signature Algorithm", "Directory System Agent", "Domain-Specific Architecture", or "Debian Security Advisory" seems to fit the context.
Do you need a relieving letter from the company or not? - "In India it is illegal for a person to have more than one job at a time. A relieving letter is issued by a company to an employee who has duly resigned from his said post, to be used as proof for future employers."
@PeterMortensen Data Structures and Algorithms
I feel like this question should be rewritten. The title and first 70% of the post set up a very different question from what is actually asked in the final 30% of the post. There are a lot of details in the backstory that can be safely trimmed away.
"When I asked my manager that it is highly risky and I don't want to do it, he said that PHP and Java are the same languages, only different syntaxes." Wait... what?!? Is this StackExchange or The Daily WTF? Under such management, quitting was definitely the right thing to do.
@reirab SRFI-110 lets you write Scheme virtually parentheses free, with infix mathematical notation. Add in ALGOL-68 style keyword translation, and you could have a very non-LISP-looking language that still behaves exactly like R7RS. It's not common, but the same language with different syntax has precedent.

@CGCampbell hmm... I'm not seeing any better hits, but that doesn't make sense. Use of data structures & algorithms are a property of the solution, not the language (although different languages have more or less internal support for particular data structures and/or algorithms).
PHP does not use OOP? At least you can implement your stuff using OOP, can't you?
