I kinda lucked out when I got it, it was a basically fine question that got downvoted because there was some profanity at first and people incorrectly thought it was a dupe... (because of that I also got Hero of Questions on it).

@Jedi I've only been here something like 7 months, so most of my comments were less than 6. Maybe there's a recent cutoff (like before winter break), but it can't be that recent.

I think it's just deleting 8 upvoted comments (possibly has to be your own, that's how I got it by deleting old comments that got 1 upvote but weren't really relevant anymore anyway).

I think mine was I-e, I-e, R-e, I-e, R-e.

I didn't skip any edits and I got it. Someone recently suggested that it might be 5 of some combination of improve/edit reject/edits in one day, and that tracks with my activity when I got it.

So you could upvote the question, but it wouldn't help.

@PaulWhite Yeah, but Maverick is answering somebody else's -3 question, which goes to +3 after you answer.

Yup, that seems to be the case, just after the one in question hit 4 votes, it kicked in.

I'm guessing on Maverick your own upvote doesn't count (that is, if the question's gone from -3 to +3, but one of those + was your own upvote after posting your answer)?

No clearly they said they weren't.

Had one improve edit earlier in the day

In my case I got the hat after two of each improve/reject-and-edit in a row.

Might be an unbroken series of improve/rejectand edits?

Also the last 4 before I got it were (in order starting from most recent), Improve, RejectEdit, Improve, RejectEdit

And also no plain Rejects

The clue was 5, only 2 matter, so my guess is you have to have 5 from "Reject and Edit" or "Improve and Edit" (possibly including one of each type).

Yeah, confirmed, no skips for They live (at least, assuming skips show up on the review queue)

(reject was going to be my next test but it popped up before)

I can't count how many times I did just approve, don't think I skipped or rejected once in the WB period

Best guess? "Improve and Edit" 3 times, "Reject and Edit" twice.
