Jul 16, 2016 23:12
@Mitch I see. I can't roll it off the tongue well, though. XD
Jul 16, 2016 23:04
How would you two pronounce the word "Frabjous"? I'm tempted to pronounce j like i.
Jul 16, 2016 20:03
@skillpatrol "Where were you when Pokemon beat racism?"
Jul 16, 2016 19:46
@Mitch Hello!
Jul 16, 2016 19:03
@CoKoder Perhaps change "it was a busy time for you" to "that you were busy." But that's just a style difference, IMO. Your sentence is fine.
Jul 16, 2016 18:31
@Tonepoet Interesting! Thank you!
Jul 16, 2016 17:34
@TIPS I really gotta follow this guy
Jul 16, 2016 16:27
@M.Haster Sounds fascinating. I could read it for you, but I'd imagine that others chatters in this room is more capable. I'll give it a go.
Jul 16, 2016 16:24
I must look into this
Jul 16, 2016 16:24
@TIPS Really?
Jul 16, 2016 16:23
Interesting! I suppose that is inevitable with such a simple word like "ok."
Jul 16, 2016 16:19
@M.Haster What is it about?
Jul 16, 2016 16:19
@Cerberus I heard that the word "okay" has African language origin. What do you think?
Jul 16, 2016 15:59
@Færd You too m8
Jul 16, 2016 15:54

Jul 9 at 4:33, by tchrist
I don't know really. French also dropped assonant rhyme and went with the Italian style.
Jul 12, 2016 05:09
@Cerberus I was talking with tchrist the other day, and we were wondering why the assonance of Spanish differs greatly from French and Italian, and English. Does it have to do with how Latin was spoken? Let me find the transcript.
Jul 11, 2016 22:31
@Mitch I'm sure I'm the first every person to pair popcorn with black coffee with milk.
Jul 11, 2016 22:13
@Mitch Can non-citizens register patents, by any chance?
Jul 11, 2016 21:11
Interesting
Jul 11, 2016 21:11
Would you say that's true?
Jul 11, 2016 21:10
@MετάEd I heard that they taste like gasoline.
Jul 11, 2016 20:51
@MετάEd Popcorn with black coffee with milk.

@KitZ.Fox Hi!
Jul 11, 2016 15:45
Long time no see guys
Jul 9, 2016 19:36
@terdon Thanks. IMO, an apology benefits the apologer more than the apologee.
Jul 9, 2016 16:39
@TIPS @terdon It's for all old regulars in the chatroom, at any rate.
Jul 9, 2016 07:53
@simchona I'm not even sure if or when you are coming back, but here goes. There was always some friction between us, and looking back I realize that I was immature and headstrong. My youth can only excuse so much. I have regrets as to how I behaved in this chatroom, so I'd like to apologize for that. This goes also to other chatters who treated with me great patience.
Jul 9, 2016 05:01
consequently, so, as a result, hence, thus, accordingly...
Jul 9, 2016 04:58

Jul 9, 2016 04:53
Wasn't it originally "skull patrol"?
Jul 9, 2016 04:52
@skillpatrol ayy
Jul 9, 2016 04:52
@Anastasiya-Romanova秀 Sure! Just one more thing: "This region is strategically located and it bustles with students' and office employees' activities." This is to show possession.
Jul 9, 2016 04:50
ㅠㅠ
Jul 9, 2016 04:50
@tchrist Meanwhile, I shake my head whenever I take a look at my fanfics.
Jul 9, 2016 04:49
Little bits of punctuation used to cut things up in chunks~
Jul 9, 2016 04:48
@Anastasiya-Romanova秀 Perhaps: "This region is strategically located; in terms of social activity, it bustles with students and office employees."
Jul 9, 2016 04:43
@tchrist 70 years?
Jul 9, 2016 04:43
@Anastasiya-Romanova秀 The second one sounds better, but I feel that the first dozen words are a little off for some reason.
