I have a quick question related to the comments of the answer.

Is it ok if I say "Thanks" in the comments when someone replies to my question?

Hey everyone! How are you doing?

I have a problem with the installation of the AMD driver on my windows and it was solemnly ignored by AMD support.

What would be the proper SE to post that question?

Nice!
I'm always worried to make a post and in five seconds I have -20 in it and a request to close the question and burn the user on a stake.

ok. thanks!

Some SE areas are very aggressive about what should and what should NOT be posted as questions... so I always check in the chat before posting.

What I want to say it is a postgres question but it also related to file location of the database and things surrounding the subject.
Dec 28, 2015 16:23
ie. should I create a backup+restore thru postgres command line or could I just move some files from directory X from this source linux to the same directory on another (target) linux
Dec 28, 2015 16:22
Because it is related to file copy and where postgres files are located.

Hey everyone! How are you doing???

I have a small questions related to Postgres and thought it would be appropriate to ask here first to check if it's OK to formulate a formal question or if I should search somewhere else.

Could you guys help me on that?
