@NickAlexeev: Thanks. After a quick check on translate I see it was resin I meant. Remember I read about it in a radio-magazine from the 1940s :P I chew hardened resin from spruce. A nice “chewing gum” :)

I have access to both tree sap and vodka though. Perhaps I should make my own

@ThePhoton: Thanks. Neighbor stole my flux :( Have to buy some more :P
Jan 22, 2017 02:48
The roll has the printing "FLUX GLOW CORE 2.5%" and thought that meant it had a flux core ..
Jan 22, 2017 02:47
I have this: aimsolder.com/products/alloys/sac305 that is lead free. Do not understand the Data Sheet though: aimsolder.com/sites/default/files/alloy_sac305_tds.pdf – unable to see where it specify flux.
Jan 22, 2017 02:44
@ThePhoton: OK. Did not know there was restrictions on that.
Jan 22, 2017 02:37
Using this: dienadel.de/fixpoint-ep5-digitale-loetstation/a-353633188 it has a (caution) triangle on the box saying "lead free". Would that suggest one should use lead free solder only?
Jan 8, 2017 03:27
The one I have is 13mm wide (0.51")
Jan 8, 2017 03:24
@Asmyldof: Same as “Metal film resistor” ?

Q: ID Resistor value

user367890Working on a Ferguson 14M2 CRT TV (220V/50Hz). Dead. Have identified at least one suspect in the hot zone. R88. Have tried for hours to find a diagram online, but to no avail. I believe it to be a 1.8 Ω resistor, but would appreciate a trained eye to have a look before I order. (Not a single sh...

Could this be a film-resistor due to the “rings” below the coating? Or does it have “no meaning”?

Delayed environment variable expansion is useful for getting around
the limitations of the current expansion which happens when a line
of text is read, not when it is executed. The following example …
Jan 14, 2017 05:31
@MathCubes: Also, perhaps, if you read help set section:

A: Arithmetic inside a for loop batch file

dbenhamEnvironment variables need not be expanded to use in a SET /A statement. But FOR variables must be expanded. Also, even if your computation worked, the ECHO would fail because percent expansion takes place when a statement is parsed, and the entire FOR construct is parsed at once. So the value o...

Believe this might be of interest:
Jan 14, 2017 05:26
The variables that are set within the block, has to be expanded using delayed expansion (whilst in the block) when you echo them.
Jan 14, 2017 05:23
It has been ages since i did .bat
Jan 14, 2017 05:23
I'll try to find some res.
Jan 14, 2017 05:21
(For it “to work” inside the loop)
Jan 14, 2017 05:20
setlocal enableDelayedExpansion
Jan 14, 2017 05:20
Oh ... and for it to work you need to add:
Jan 14, 2017 05:19
Or echo %val% after closing loop )
Jan 14, 2017 05:18
Try echo !val!
Jan 14, 2017 05:18
@MathCubes: It is subtracting by one, but yo have to expand it.
Jan 14, 2017 03:13
It is actually the (native) logo for GNU parallel ;)
Jan 14, 2017 02:42
OK. Thanks. OK. :))

Jan 14, 2017 02:42
Ach. Wasted time.
Jan 14, 2017 02:41
I actually tried &"" (rel.) long time ago. 45 mins +. But it did not correct the issue, so I thought it was no soloution.
Jan 14, 2017 02:40
Not only cell.
Jan 14, 2017 02:40
As in why it did not work without deleting everything.
Jan 14, 2017 02:40
Well. Solved at least, though I guess the (real) issue is going to enter the realm of left socks.
Jan 14, 2017 02:39
Tried re-format (all formats), delete (of cell), etc. but it only showed formula and not “result”
Jan 14, 2017 02:38
Part of the problem is undefined though as it only show formula. Had to delete entire row to make it work.
Jan 14, 2017 02:37
As in =A2 & ""

Q: Display Blank when Referencing Blank Cell in Excel 2010

DaveI have an Excel 2010 workbook that contains a number of individual worksheets. The cells on one of the sheets are linked to individual cells on two other worksheets in the same workbook. I'm using a direct cell reference that essentially says that whatever value is entered into a particular cell...

Hmm. OK. I will give it a go.
Jan 14, 2017 02:07
The document is in XLSX though. Guess that limits the fun.
Jan 14, 2017 02:05
Though I believe this has to have been asked; zum zum.
Jan 14, 2017 02:03
Have tried to search for it, but guess my search is faulty as I do not find any Q/A.
