Q: Sparse Arrays in Java - HackerRank

bhathiya-pereraI'm doing questions on HackerRank to brush up on Java & CS. There is a collection of input strings and a collection of query strings. For each query string, determine how many times it occurs in the list of input strings. For example, given input strings = ['ab', 'ab', 'bc'] and qu...

Is there a better place to ask this question?

Do you have any idea how I can tackle this problem? How can I get more knowledge without being exposed to such work. I can spare about 100$ - 200$ maybe per year.

If I'm not gaining enough experience in distributed systems (I have zero exposure), how do I learn it myself?

I'm currently reading designing data intensive applications to handle this gap of knowledge, which is good.I can try and create stuff on Heroku, but It would cost a lot of money to properly try distributed computing.

Should the question for this answer be closed? codereview.stackexchange.com/a/215165/47826 Seems that the question is not thread-safe ?

I wonder if that means, people who do machine learning doesn't really care about quality of code, but to just get it working to pass some assignments. 🤔
Mar 4, 2019 10:05
We rarely see machine learning questions on code review for Python. But in Stackoverflow if you check for new Python questions most of the stuff are machine learning.
