@Tinkeringbell Haha first guess and we instantly have THE winner :D I attempted to make it look as a generic reptile with these triangles that were supposed to resemble scales, so alligator/snake vibe is exactly what I want.
Okay it was way too easy, guess this, first letter is "e" and it doesn't have a spine. Once you guess correct, I will translate from Polish a joke about this animal.
A child learns in school that apparently if you cut an earthworm in half, then each half will survive and live independently as a separate earthworm. Child comes home and asks dad "hey dad, if I cut the earthworm in half, will these two new worms be friends?" and dad says "haha, they certainly won't be friends with YOU" :D
@Tinkeringbell It is called what translates to "Chinese man", but I looked on Wikipedia to check out what you were talking about about being angry or upset because it made no sense, then I clicked that oh, indeed, I remember from supermarkets that some brand named it what would translate to "man, don't be irritated!" and it made completely no sense and that's why I remembered it, now it is all clear for me :D
But back then I was thinking that "man, don't be irritated" is just an allusion that this game is frustrating :D
@Tinkeringbell By the way if you want non-anecdotal, more solid evidence, you could go to Wikipedia article about this game and on the left there are links to the same article in different languages, you could then translate these titles via google translator; also, I checked and for Slavic languages: Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Macedonian, Croatian, Bulgarian and Serbo-Croatian it is all "don't be nervous/mad/irritated, man!".
@Ael Poor bots :( I don't think SE would deliberately kill all of them though: SmokeDetector does just a good enough job of detecting spam that it'll probably be kept alive :P
@lila A bit? But that's true for most animals, I guess :P It's mostly the owners that let their dogs get/be filthy, I think.
@Ael Yeah... I've tried asking questions more but even I can't come up with good ones so :(
The rpg one we have now is good, though I'm almost feeling sorry for the OP that there isn't a good answer yet... I'd almost suggest migrating it to RPG just so it can have the attention it deserves.
Though I think RPG doesn't necessarily do as much for questions where the relationship outside of the game is also this important for an OP?
@Ael @Tinkeringbell Okay thanks, I was just curious of people's opinion. And I wouldn't go so far as to call dogs filthy animals but they are definitely dirty, but dogs have personality and personality goes a long way, and I was also curious whether you connect my question with Pulp Fiction because that question was taken directly from that movie :D
Is anyone else unable to log into chat rooms today?
Other parts of the site seem to be working fine but trying to enter chat room listing invariably results in timeout.
Haha I guess it might sound serious outside of the context, but it's not serious and from a movie and that's why it's funny, oh not really? Okay, but at least for me it was funny :D and Journeyman Geek watched that movie :D
Oh this thing with chat rooms, yesterday or two days ago (I'm not sure) I was disconnected from all 3 chats I've been logged on, I had to refresh the pages, I usually don't remember events like this for long because I am using wireless connection and frequently have problems, I assumed it was this or I did something wrong, yes there was a problem recently with this.
@CaldeiraG I don't know details but if you have an open tab with the chat then your avatar appears indefinitely in that list of people in the room until you close the tab, the time since last message only makes it progressively fade away but never disappear, it disappears if you close the tab or get disconnected from the internet, after than you need to refresh the page or you won't get any notifications.
And maybe I get this wrong, but if you click on "leave room" then you disappear immediately, if you just close with "x" then you disappear after 15 minutes.
I mean you are logged in if your avatar appears on the list of people in the room.
Okay guess what animal this llama is and I will tell you whether you guessed right, the first letter in the name of this animal is the same as first letter in my name.
@Ael No I'm sorry because lama is not correct, please keep on guessing what animal this llama is.
:D
Okay okay, the joke is that I said first letter is the same as in my name, and I gave the answer right away so apparently also my intelligence is the same as this animal's intelligence.
@Ael Oh okay, so yes I used to spit around all the time, but once the bug hit us in March it became criminal offence to spit and I can't spit any longer since then ^.^
@Ael Haha yes, but ironically my current mask itself makes me want to spit sometimes because it's made of some filthy material that is pilling, I mean, little annoying strands of fabric are declaring independence and separating from the mask to go into my mouth and the feeling is gross.
I have already reviewed this thread here and while its useful and kind of similar its a bit different and I think it deserves its own discussion.
This situation is happening in Canada (if it helps) and here is the summary:
I had to consult my accountant for a new business opportunity that I'm exp...
@FadedGiant Haha okay, is this your cat? Sweet ^.^
@Ael I want but they are hard to find, my first mask used ever was 100% cotton and absolutely no strands came off, it felt so natural, like a cloth, but I lost it somehow, I don't know how but I suspect that I might have thrown it away together with trash one day, now all masks I see have the texture and feel of a stiff cardboard and are made of some artificial materials.
Oh by the way, I have never ever dropped a phone into the toilet, and as I see on the internet, it is apparently a really common accident. But I have never ever drowned a phone in toilet water.
