I'm a bit skeptical about the article. Considering expatriation for salary a mass phenomenon, to the point it could create lack of employees on a given sector, looks a bit fishy to me

but generally speaking manforce is not very mobile

for example there are great conditions for programmers in the US

but there are also plenty of programmers in other countries

according to my research there is around 70.000 nurses in Portugal, being 688 for 100.000 habitants

so indeed 4500 request to work abroad is significant, but I don't think it explains the "lack of" nurses on its own

Greece is in a far worse situation for ex. with 337 nurses per 100.000

Just looking at what countries have the most there seem to be a harder correlation between how well funded are healthcare by the government and the number of actual jobs, so basically the "lack of nurses" find roots mostly in lack of public funding

@ArthurHv I don't think it is a striking similarity but yes I could also see this after you pointed it out, but I think it is inevitable considering how these avatars are generated being symmetrical copies of 4 smaller images, I know I read somewhere that the robot that generates those somehow prevents straight up similarities.

It's kind of interesting. Above all that made me laugh the robot could be seen as some kind of good content nazi

but then I thought ok, if it's something official it probably needs a clean avatar

i agree it's not striking but that's most of what you can see on the avatar sooo its probably worth the effort changing. I could come up with something that's not copyrighted if you need.
