I just had a horrendous thought.
I could print my own lightsaber with this bed adhesion. :shifty-eyes:
Guilty little pleasure here I come.

You'll be way more productive and able to bear life's 'Presents' when they come your way.
A good portion of my gaming slush fund has been used and I haven't been this happy for a while.

Simon ForsbergTape setup Esolang constants are compact, but not efficient. You are using an esolang constant to get the number 61, but what you actually want is a series of numbers: 0 5 66 117 122 105 70 3 0 100. In this case Esolang constants doesn't really help. Instead, it helps to look at the series of nu...

Has @Simon posted his weekly update?

@Duga Week 1739: Short stories read, four. Board games played, two (Codenames and Decrypto). Board game meetups attended, one. Glasses of wine, four. Board game evenings planned at my apartment on Friday, one. Friends invited so far, eight. More friends I might invite, three. More friends I could invite, too many to fit in my apartment. Tinder messages sent, a few. Tinder message responses received, one. Friendships possibly screwed up, one. Tiredness from working, a lot.

@SimonForsberg yes

[Zomis/Server2] build for commit ecc3cf9b on master: This commit looks good

@SimonForsberg The friendship part is kinda sad :(

@Marc-Andre It's hopefully not completely screwed, but it's... complicated. Or it might just be my fear showing.

@SimonForsberg Take it as a compliment that I find it very unusual for someone to be so good at Brainfuck.

@SimonForsberg React and StyledComponent so far looks like Vue.js. Can't wait to see where it differs.

@Feeds Sending me an email to let me know I've been unsubscribed from a mailing list is adding insult to injury...

6:37 PM
@Phrancis lol

6:53 PM
@Phrancis Don't worry we won't bother you ever again, just that one last time
Trust us

@Phrancis lol, thanks. Compliment taken.

7:12 PM
@Phrancis Who said it was an e-mail?

@SimonForsberg No I think @Phrancis meant that receiving an email is worst too

@SimonForsberg ^^that

I mean... the XKCD doesn't say that it has to be an e-mail that is sent to you to let you know that you have unsubscribed. It could just be a message on a webpage.

@SimonForsberg Yes but imagine if it was an email, it's worst according to Phrancis since you're trying to not receive email anymore

You know, the worst thing is Paypal. And don't get me wrong, I love Paypal. But every single time I make a transaction, I not only get a record in the Paypal app. I also get an email AND and Facebook message to tell me I made a transaction.

7:42 PM
@Phrancis DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE??

@Marc-Andre Agreed

8:56 PM
Never once in my life have I had such a hard time finding the EXE of a program (just for creating a damn shortcut)
Even from Task Manager, when the program is running, the Properties selection is disabled
I mean... WTF were they thinking?
Screw it. I'll just save a TXT with how to get to it.
It's that program I need once in a blue moon to take the podcast audio and add a background picture and render to a video for YouTube.
Now that's out of the way... I think today is a good day for coding
Serious question for @ all who code: How often is object serialization (i.e. writing an object's current state to disk/database for later read) actually used in real life, business applications?

9:19 PM
@Phrancis Did you download it from the web somewhere? It doesn't look like it was included in Windows, or was it?
By the way, if you're in Windows 10 you can right-click on a program on Taskbar and click "Pin to taskbar"
@Phrancis Any time you want to load/save something. Which is... quite a lot.
Of course there's different ways to do the serialization.
Most ways I use is with some kind of reflection. Jackson library for JSON for example.

@SimonForsberg Yeah it's from Windows store. And yes I found that, but I was trying to make a dumb desktop shortcut for the once every couple months I use it, didn't want it to take space on taskbar

@Phrancis Hmm... I thought it might be possible to copy the shortcut in taskbar to elsewhere

@SimonForsberg You would think. But it's not on Windows 10 (try it)

@Phrancis %AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\
There's your LNK file. Move it to whereever you want.

9:46 PM
LNK file not in that folder, despite being pinned to taskbar. But, whatever, it's a sh█t app so why should I expect otherwise.

Windows Store apps don't go in there.
They are all in a different folder.
I don't remember where, it's weird.
If you pin it to the start menu, though, you can just drag/drop it onto the desktop from there.

@Hosch250 I... um... I knew that... thanks I have my shortcut now 😅

I forgot that particular one, but I knew I'd done it before, so a quick Bing told me how :)

BING
You heathen

Okay, tonight we're making a hex dumper

@SimonForsberg “I’m a man. By my very nature I screw things up. There is no ‘If’ but ‘When’. I apologize in advance and hope you’ll give me the benefit of doubt when I do mess up.”
Print that on a business card. It’ll make things easier with women.
That’s what I told my wife when we started dating. It worked for me.
I doubt her character judgement though since she still married me. YMMV.
@Phrancis they’re just filing their TPS reports for you.
