Q: What is the significance of Sauron never having a physical presence in the Lord of the Rings?

NorthSo I noticed that in Lord of the Rings Sauron acts as a very interesting villain. He never makes a corporeal appearance, nor does he have any acting dialouge. He's mentioned plenty of times through other characters, history, and lore, but never makes an appearance himself. I know the canon mythol...

@Stormblessed including the one or two "obvious" ones (Marge Simpson, Harley Quinn, possibly Daenerys) would have been nice, but there's no guarantee OP caught 'em, and for the rest that's hard stuff to search for; but yeah, agreed that at least "Google brought nothing" would have been some research

So, most of 5% of the world.
Though it might be a greater percentage of the Stack Exchange network.

Well, she was almost the first woman to be the chief executive of the third biggest country (by population; fourth by area)
So rather notable, IMO

Sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jenayah didn't follow it.

There's a rep threshold.

Isn't that a bit dangerous?

Why?

I mean, sure, rep is supposed to mean some trust, but I could go and shout insults and it wouldn't be caught by SMokey?

Technically, yes. Of course, other users would notice and you'd probably be suspended, but that's outside of Smokey's scope. If you're depending entirely on Smokey for detecting if someone's being rude, you're doing it wrong.

Q: I’ve lost some books!

LizI’m trying to track down a book series read years ago. It was about a female warrior cat species travelling space and taking over worlds and humans trying to fight back. the males were a sub-species only used for mating once every couple of years and the females had to go back to their home plan...

Q: What is the meaning of 1015 in the Twilight Zone reboot?

nsonlineIn the rebooted Twilight Zone, the number 1015 seems to appear in several episodes. Sometimes it's the time, in another episode it was the licence plate number of a police car. Within the Twilight zone, is there any significance or hidden meaning behind the number?
