If it were me, I'd use the archers to reduce the number available. If each archer has 10 arrows and can make most of them count, they could mop those infantry up pretty well.

@Bellerophon Trivial is very opinion based. I would vote to close the trivial vote to close option as POB.

What I'd do is put the archers at the flanks back a few dozen yards. The infantry engage. The numbers are close enough that the enemy can't really attack the archers without risking getting crushed by the infantry.

As the enemy move into range, the archers open fire. Shortly after this point, it should be an even infantry battle.

Keep the archers firing as effectively as possible. You'll risk losing some archers, but that's what battle is about.

I want High quality questions with High quality answers. I'm not gonna foster the asking of low quality questions by providing high quality answers to them.
