getting individual accounts shut down is part of their normal flow, that's why they do spread-spectrum
but the more we can make them jump, the less time for them to sit back and wait for customers
abuse reporting tends to polarize; some newbie spammers take the hint and stop when they get their single account shut down with a slap on the wrists, but others turn pro and figure out how to continue with more accounts, more obfuscation, more borderline illegal shenanigans

@Magisch nope, they take on the order of three months and say they don't police web sites, the only thing they will supposedly take action on as far as I can tell from their response is if somebody is sending email spam out of their network
unfortunately this is what you will get from most hosting providers and definitely most DNS providers, they really don't tend to want to get into policing their users

I wouldn't expect any service provider to remove a site based on web spam. For all they know it could be a competitor spamming a site to get it closed down, for that matter for all they know we could be getting paid to make false reports just to try and get a site shut down. It's a bit different to when they can just go to a site and see it has copyright / illegal content.

@Mithrandir The problem is though is while I'm 99.99% sure they're spammers and most weight loss products are bogus they're not illegal depending on where you live so the service provider still has no way if knowing if it's them spamming or someone else just trying to get the site shut down. Or for that matter even more unlikely a satisfied customer.
