@ArtOfCode if we are adding weight to domains which are always spam, then we're basically doubling up on the weight for most blacklist items, which we don't want to do.
@quartata yeah, I commented it out for the moment
...but, that may be a good idea for once we set up DB sync between instances for blacklists/notifications etc, that way we could remove the blacklist reason (or give it no weight) and allow MS to manage the items on the blacklist and their individual weight
But that would start to blur the line between smokey and ms

@paper1111 That pattern looks like it's already caught by Potentially bad keyword in body and Potentially bad keyword in answer; use !!/watch-force if you really want to do that.

@Wrzlprmft You can try using the data explorer if you know a bit of JS (but I don't recommend it for large datasets since it basically breaks MS), otherwise @Undo might be able to get you a DB dump. I think @Andy made a spam-by-site-over-time graph a while back (IIRC), you could get him to regenerate it
@angussidney I am certainly not a core contributor (I am not even regularly frequenting this room anymore) and I do not intend to contribute in any form beyond flagging and complaining in the near future.
@angussidney Do the deletion logs comprise all identified spam (or nearly all of it)? If yes, I could start there.
@Wrzlprmft you don't necessarily have to code or regularly flag stuff to be considered, you just need to have made some form of non-insignificant contribution to Charcoal over time. You've been here for a long time, flagging, giving feedback, reporting posts, etc - you're certainly elegible. No strings attached - just a token of our gratitude :)

Yeah. If you give me an email, I can send you the link to a database dump from about March. While it isn't up-to-date, it's something that you can use until you get an up-to-date copy.

I know, but if I give you a database dump you can start to write the code needed to analyse it, then when you get an up-to-date copy you just have to run the code against it :)
it became less useful since Smokey got souped up (I for one could never flag anything before it was gone), but Eliah Kagan mentioned that spam answers were hanging around longer since Smokey went quiet in AUGR
I think we were going to let Smokey into the Downboat... maybe I'm supposed to be doing that!
