@ArtOfCode What if I lose it...?

@Henders the general suggestion is to register two, one for general use and one backup kept safely locked away

@Henders You do the same as if you lose your house keys :)

Beyond that... it's up to the service provider. With some of them, you're SOL and you have to get a new account. With others, they have other ways of authenticating you.

Interesting. But if someone picks it up they can just use it, right?

If we set up U2F on metasmoke, Undo could get you back into your account by setting users.enabled_2fa to false
@Henders Yeah, but that's why it's a second factor. You have a password as well.

@Henders Aye. GitHub and GitLab make you set up 2FA with a phone (SMS/app) before you can use U2F, so that if you lose the U2F token you can still do 2FA

Can't we ask Stack Overflow to give us a special test site (e.g. spam.stackexchange.com) where we can freely post spam, without being worried about rate limits or other repercussions?

I've been thinking I should have a way to record and replay the API responses so I can easily mock them in a test or PoC script
false laziness, have not gotten around to it

I don't think that will happen any time soon, @Glorf, but feel free to ask.

No, I don't either.
But it would be nice to have.

I mean... We could spam a Channel if we got one of those ;P

If the posts on the Channel appear on the realtime API (after we give Smokey access), why not?

If they do, then yeah
I doubt they will, though

I mean, it's pretty hard to test some of the posts with !!/test* because of the chat message length limit, and we can't test title/body/username combinations.
