Does anyone remember anything changing in early April in the system that would have slowed down our response time in deleting spam during the non-spam hours (4am to noon, UTC)?

I ask, because when I reran the chart that @ArtOfCode and @Undo asked for earlier, I got this:

Sounds good.

Completely unrelated. Someone needs to teach my child how to child properly. You get sick during the school year so that you can have a day off. You don't get sick in the summer when you have free time and get to go do fun things.

My theory: Since we're sending a lot more requests, with a lot less buffer, I suspect we're a lot more prone to sending a bunch of requests at once and hitting backoffs. If we're hitting backoffs, and hitting them frequently, I could easily see a hammer effect starting causing the queue to get hundreds of seconds long
