Q: Is there a way to kill quickly Silver enemies?

Later in the game, you encounter Silver bokoblins and other enemies. They seem to have three times the HP of regular enemies and just take a while to beat. Is there a way to quickly dispatch them? Or should I just run away from them if the loot is not that much better than normal enemies?

TL;DR Heroes is going to a system more like Overwatch, with loot boxes, sprays, and voice lines. :P And the Diablo 2 Amazon is coming to the game.

Are they changing how expensive it is to buy new heroes or how little gold you get per time played?

I do like a lot of these changes but that was one of the main issues for me.

I can't remember specific numbers, I just remember the feeling I got that it seemed like it took forever to get anywhere.

The fact that Hearthstone can't work as a non-video game is really strange.

I also prefer playing games like that against friends I know who don't take it as seriously instead of against competitive players who play to win.

@StrixVaria I'm not sure. I do know that the inclusion of the heroes brawl, on top of daily quests, makes it easier to buy new heroes these days. FAE has like 32k gold saved up, so that's 3-9 unlocks, depending on how she spends the gold.

In games like that the fun I have is in being creative, not in playing to win.

When you play against randoms online, that isn't a mindset that's going to cause you to have fun.

If you play ranked, you're playing against people trying to win, so your "creative" deck isn't going to do well.

In MTG terms, I am Johnny/Timmy, and playing against Spike is no fun.

But the entire idea of an online ranked ladder pretty much only rewards Spike-style play.

My most fond memory of Hearthstone was when they had the Tavern Brawl that created a deck out of two single cards repeating an equal number of times to have a regular sized deck. A friend and I played for a good solid evening. Good times

You have combos where you need specific cards but the chances of everything falling into place are slim

I don't really like heavily RNG based games, because there are games that you can't win based on your draw.

Hearthstone falls into that, but so does Magic, which I played and enjoyed for a long time.

Really it just seems you should have smaller card combos

and don't always wait for a bigger combo

Imagine if you could choose your draw every turn, though, how much that would slow the game down and how much analysis paralysis that would cause making sure you make the optimal play every turn.

So there is a line to straddle with RNG.

@StrixVaria Go against an AI when you're new to the game is pretty brutal. Even the weak AI is very good at fighting for stones, but as a new player you can't beat it at the strategic stuff where it is much weaker

I know this because I tend to play cards that I find funny but no one else does

@BlueBarren That's more playing based on what you know about people rather than any strategy arising from the game's rules themselves

And the small 9x9 board is much better at first, but that is the worst one to play against the computer

Go is weird. I do better when I don't think too hard about it and just "feel" for overall strategy.

Like "hmm, if I tilt my head, it looks like he's going this way. Maybe I'll put a stone in this general area to block it off."

All this talk of RNG and strategy makes me want to play Armello again.

A tree is going rot, sure, but if you're practicing to be a lumberjack, you're probably going to chop it up before that happens.

And chopped wood can be sold or even given to any number of places.

I know my local grocery store sells bunches of chopped wood for use as fuel in grills.

Or you could burn the wood yourself and use the ash as fertilizer.
