@hichris123 you're not an org admin, so you don't see settings tabs by default... which one d'ye want access to?

@YvetteColomb once again, sorry about that. When we implemented the reporter functionality we accidentally broke some stuff. As art said, I should be able to do some work on it tomorrow afternoon AUS time.

@ArtOfCode Well, all of 'em would be nice. :)

that's... a tad impractical for now, how about top three for now until I can get to a PC and/or talk to undo?

Eh, I can just wait for Undo.

shrug there's the top three for now, cc @undo
in terms of branch protection, AFAIK nothing except SmokeDetector master is protected

@EricLeschinski I'm SmokeDetector, a bot that detects spam and offensive posts on the network and posts alerts to chat. A command list is available here.

Hey guys, do you think this is spam, or just an overzealous attempt to be friendly?

@Machavity matches multiple spam patterns that would trigger my email antispam filters
in my opinion
at least the entire second paragraph
but they need to do a lot of cleanup on that post to make it nicely readable
it renders weird

Think I'll just let it close then and get a SOCVR delete going. Thanks

@hichris123 whatcha need?

@hichris123 you're not an org admin, so you don't see settings tabs by default... which one d'ye want access to?

@hichris123 What do you need it for?

Well, seeing branch protection status would be nice. Also CI stuff.

So here's the thing:
1. I'm running this on my LAN
2. People on the internet can push code to it
I don't feel good about any more people (and credentials) than absolutely necessary having the ability to cover their tracks

I understand. However, I already had that ability for 1-2 years now so I think if I wanted to do something, I would've already. ;)

2:32 AM
Oh, I'm not worried about you. More about credentials existing to do that.
I wish there was a way to give all permissions except the ability to force push

If you force push though don't you erase whatever you committed anyway? And the next time someone tried to pull, it would have a problem with it anyway.

@hichris123 Push badness, !!/pull, force push to overwrite badness, !!/master
Just a sec, checking on some things

But then the next time someone tries to pull, it wouldn't let them because GH HEAD wouldn't have bad commit. The bad commit would also still be visible on GH, just not linked besides in this room.

@hichris123 You should be able to see github.com/Charcoal-SE/SmokeDetector/settings/hooks as of three hours ago

2:41 AM
oh, you want all of them
reasonable, just a sec
(I checked, GitHub stores audit logs for force pushes. So that's okay.)

Oh, I did get US, I didn't see that. Anyway, that works.

k, let me know if you need more.
also, filesystem errors on Smokey. I kinda hard-power-cut it

I recommend you not cut the power cord next time. ;P
