@tzenes I tried to explain this to you, twice. I was offended because your first logical conclusion in this debacle is "Grace is abusing her station and power for nothing but his own personal gain". This is seeping from your first comment. You emphasized "Just because you disagree" 3 times.

It offended me because after 4 months, I had figured you would understand me a lot better than to think I would deign to go down such a method, or at least that it wouldn't be your very first conclusion. It offended me because in this whole debacle, I have been doing everything I can to do this as a normal user, and to dissociate my own disagreement and rely purely on logical reasoning.

But I tire of this argument, and in fact this whole community is tired of it. The worst case scenario, which I had been hoping to avoid for the longest time, is that we have successfully forced away users not because of our policies, but because of the stupid fighting over the policies.

I did it by considering that posting the Meta question as the initial inquiry of interest to deleting the account and the discussion in chat, and when today he finally edited his account to say "please delete me", I figured that he had dwelled enough on the subject.

It is not 24 hours from when the email was sent, but it was 24 hours to "sleep on it". However, I will keep in mind the proper protocol for the future. I'm sorry for stepping out of line, @Jeff

Many of the hardcore myst people (the ones who are laboring away on their "personal Ages" in the hopes that cyan might someday release a tool that allows them to be built) are not gamers and will have no draw to this site about all things gaming.

Well, I guess I would argue that the Linux, Unix, Ubuntu thing proves that a distinct community is adequate reason for a separate site. And I still think that the broad nature of Board Games is unlikely to attract the hardcore Go audience that is required to answer moderately difficult questions with any level of quality.

Q: Cities XL 2011 resolution error

Yesterday my brother played Cities XL fine. But now when i run it, my monitor goes standby saying "Out of frequency range, set resolution lower". Other people on Internet also have this issue. Deleting the "Focus Home Interactive" folder do not solve this issue.

I really wish there was some notification when multiple people are editing. Instead, it just silently lets the last person overwrite everyone else

The page polls for those edits once every few mins however

so if you're all going for quick edits, that won't save you.

Q: Borderlands Rack Hive
