1) Run right up to him so he sees you. Get in his face.
2) Don't block or anything.
3) He stabs you eventually, right?
4) If not, slowly walk backward to the bigger area where the ledge starts
5) He follows you, right?

If not, your game is bugged

The problem is getting him to attack me or even move at all!

If you are staring at him with your shield up, it'll take him forever to decide to attack you

@Sterno No, I walked up to him and pushed him backwards as far as I could, the went back. He followed me, but still didn't attack. He stopped in his original spot.

Also, if you use a heavy 2-hander, you can still pound on him

Dark Souls'll pick on him for being bad on its own

I'm trying to remember if it was in here or in the other corner of the net that I saw a gif of someone engaging in some kind of arrowslinging/deflecting duel to approach a skeleton on a cliff, only for a hitherto-unseen skeleton to kick him right off the cliff as he got into melee range.

The experience in that video is pretty much what mine has always been.

@Sterno You can also get the Drake's Sword by shooting ~200 arrows at that dragon's tail.

From under the bridge, that is.

Once you get past the boar, you're not far from unlocking a shortcut that let's you get there from the central bonfire in the game, and you won't have to use the bridge anymore either, at that point

I really like the level design of Dark Souls. You can skip through so much stuff if you know what you're doing.

In the Home Screen of my Nintendo 3DS, I scroll to the Face Raiders application and see that the face of a friend of mine is still there. That friend played with Face Raiders in June, so is there any way to take the face off the home screen?

There's a point where you just need to stop responding to someone.

Sometimes you just can't reason with someone, this is one of those times. He isn't willing to listen, so engaging with him further isn't going to help anything.

I only enjoy drama where there are two sides to an issue and either could be right, but of course whatever side I'm on is absolutely right.

I somewhat agree. Downvoting something that you also VTC on seems redundant, and also unfortunately leaves the downvote attached if they repair it to a valid state.

@badp Comcast download limit is 350GB a month. That often gets hit and each Gigabyte is about 1.50$. There are servers in the download list labeled "Comcast" and I just ask myself if they are unmetered, because if they are, the person I am asking this questions for, could just use them. However, the download server is far away and it downloads about half the speed than Phoenix. Also, you get thrown into the matchmaking for that area. So it would be hassle and only worth it if they are unmetered. Don't know exactly how to test it though, since there is no live view on your limit. — leetfan 29 secs ago

Then again, not every VTC vote results in closure, so if it doesn't close, then you kind of want that downvote around
