While this may simply void every warranty out there, there is the modio option.
DISCLAIMER: This method can void out your warranty and is considered illegal (i think), that said I haven't been thrown out for it, nor is it too terrible a request to back up game saves.
Now that I've said my discl...
> Halo:Reach allowed you to upload those videos to your bungie profile, render and release through their service only (I suspect that is because it is stored in some funky 1's and 0's format).
@GnomeSlice Unsure. But I'd say it's a safe bet that having to include "I think this is illegal" in your disclaimer is a pretty good way to tell whether or not you should actually... y'know... post said answer.
@FAE Parts of Canada. I can't speak for the entire Country, but at least out West in Alberta and British Columbia, if I refer to some other brand of cornetto as a drumstick, they will know what I mean.
@fbueckert Not a sushi fan. primary choices appear to be Chilis, Chinese, or ordering something from a pizzeria, whether it be pizza or wings or a sub or whatever.
(1) they probably wouldn't win, (2) it'd be really bad publicity, (3) we're making the presumption that the EULA disallows sharing of user-generated media.
@Polynomial The EULA doesn't even enter into it, if I'm reading the answer correctly, it's proposing a method that circumvents DRM, which is illegal, regardless of whatever EULA is involved.
@LessPop_MoreFizz I like how it's just so... straightforward about all of this. So NPR-ish. I also enjoy how it brings in little "real world" things like Subway, Game of Thrones, Audible, etc. It's really well done.
@Polynomial No, not in this case - violating DRM for interoperability purposes is very much something that only applies to very specific and narrowly tailored cases - this isn't one of them, at least in the US.
@Polynomial And I've spent a whole lot of time dealing with the DMCA and it's various implications. What makes sense, and what is legal, are not often the same.
@LessPop_MoreFizz keep in mind that the DMCA isn't technically a law on its own; it's part of the CFAA, which maintains overriding legislative power.
and, as part of the CFAA, reverse engineering and circumvention of security protection mechanism are blanket legal for interoperability purposes, explicitly includng the exchange of media produced solely by the user.
I have a xbox 360 slim from the US and recently I bought FIFA 13 from the marketplace in South America(Ecuador) and then I downloaded it. At 70% of the download completed, a notification shows up on the bottom that says Can't Download FIFA 13. I tried again and the same thing happens. If there is...
I haven't played or follow Pokemon since Gen 3 (Ruby/Sapphire) and I plan on getting a 3DS and hopefully get up to speed for X and Y. What are the mechanics that I should really be aware of when raising my Pokemons?
More precisly are there any irreversible mechanics that I should really be aware...
In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team if I equip boots or a hammer with special effects on Luigi does Dreamy Luigi also get the benefits of the special effects?
If you buy stuff that is versatile in large quantities, then you are more likely to want it later. Onions, green peppers, cheese and eggs are very versatile for example. Stir fries, omelettes, sauces, pizza (and pizza-like dishes) are some simple and quick examples of what you can do with them. They keep a reasonable amount of time and are nice to have handy when you don't have the time to hit the store. Also, healthy fresh foods and costs less money than eating out.
@skovacs1 Yeah, I needed like 2 green onions for a particular dish I made this week but they only sell them in things of like, 8, so I need to use them up now.
I'm fantastic for figuring out what I have available to make so I can eat. Leftovers, though, somehow never hit the mental inventory of stuff I have available.
@FAE I use onions in EVERYTHING...well almost. Curries, sauces, stir fries, pan scrambles, chilies, soups, baked goods, pizza, with perogies, hamburgers, meatballs, and those are just off the top of my head.
@OrigamiRobot The problem is that you are probably defrosting the bread wrong. Also, having copious amounts of frozen bread crumbs and cubes makes preparing large holiday dinners simple, and they can be used in breading as well as hamburgers and meatballs.
@OrigamiRobot Maybe not yet, but some day, you might. I'm just describing legitimate freezing of bread so that your hatred of everyone who does it might be tempered or even quelled.
@FAE Okay, that is part of the problem. A) Recipes that don't call for a whole onion either mean your onions are too large or the recipe is dumb. B) Variation is key. Don't stick too closely to a recipe, as long as it doesn't end up tasting bad - more onion usually doesn't result in that.
@FAE It's caled a cook book. I like the Betty Crocker as a starter - it has a large variety of recipes with a broad scope plus lots of supplementary information on food and food preparation. For specialized cooking, I'm a fan of the Company's Coming cook books, but I'm not sure if they are available where you are.
I miss the fresh fruit/veggies where I grew up. There were a lot of Amish and Mennonite farmers who had fruit/veggie stands and they'd sell fresh ears of corn, tomatoes, zucchini, etc.
@OrigamiRobot Actually, in my current place, I do this too. I also live in my office so I never really stop working. I think it might be the death of me before too long.
