@undefined if it's even bigger you could put it outdoors and let the astronauts on the ISS enjoy it! :-)

Q: Could an ISS astronaut photograph something like this 1km "Van Gogh" if they knew it was there?

uhohAt the end of December 2015, a giant "painting" made of 4 million color-sorted recycled bottles was put on display in Keelung, Taiwan. The Indian Express says it's 53 hectares, which is 530,000 square meters, so it's probably roughly 0.5 x 1 km in size. At 400km, that makes it roughly a quarter o...

Congratulations to former astronaut Mark Kelly sworn in as senator...!
Did Pence kind-of mumble the bit about "all enemies, foreign and domestic"? :-)

The biggest roadblocks to finishing your hobby project aren’t coding-related. They’re mental.

@uhoh Did you see this question about LEED?

Q: How do I know if the reconstruction in the picture is a 2 x 2 reconstruction?

user7077252How do I know if the reconstruction in the picture is a 2 x 2 reconstruction or not? I believe that this corresponds to a 2x2 reconstruction because there is an even horizontal and vertical distance between the half-order and the full-order points in the corners of the pattern but I don't really...

Turns out there is video of the collapse.

Was included in my link. But yeah.
Especially that drone shot that just happened to be watching the cables as it collapsed.

@NikeDattani Oh that's exactly what I can't do. I love the physics and math of modeling and generating simulated LEED images, but interpreting them and distinguishing between alternative models based on rules and insight requires experience and intuition, which I currently lack being such a noob to this.
I'm awful at games and puzzles as well. I'll go crack some books and see if I can cite something, this should be easy and straightforward to answer.
