@kimholder You mean that you wanted to gamify the simulation ?
@kimholder If you want to capitalize on the realistic value of moonwards, I guess setting up a quests system for astronauts to realize tasks dictated from mission control would be nice.
Not sure what quests would be interesting enough without being too difficult to make tho...
Exploration and mapping could be fun and not too hard
shoveling regolithe to burry yourself too
biology would be hard to implement in a meaningful way

@Antzi i want to make the simulation interactive, but i am not enthusiastic about making it a game, with specific goals, or points, or anything.
those possible activities you mention sound dead boring to me. but in order to understand the infrastructure and the environment, it would be good if people could make the machines work. That still means you have to use a game engine.
wow, what rotten luck. it could hardly have gotten wedged into a worse spot.
OMG
it really looks like bad luck..
LOL, I just saw that...
huhu
i just received a job offer from a Swedish company
1) They failed to spell my name
2) 6 month contract
14:23
could it be extended?
it is an awful lot closer to home for you, but then you have to come up with a new job in only 6 months
I guess yes but they don't specify
so, are you going to take it?
no way
But damn, so much potential for trolling about immigration in Sweden!
14:27
ah, yes. but that would be trolling, and i might have to do something about that [squint] : x
I'd be a bit pissed off to have to move again after only a few months
so much crap i bought here ...
it does sound awfully disruptive
Yeah, and I paid a lot of money upfront to rent a place, etc...
Anyway I didn't stuck a 220 000 000€ lander under a boulder :p
things could be worst
space is hard. and bumpy, and full of crevices :P
I'd wish it would be full of écrevices instead :p
SpaceX explosion: Amos-6 satellite owner demands $50M from Musk’s firm

or a free flight.... well, that decision isn't hard
I guess so :p
translate: écrevices
(from English) écrevices
hm, didn't work
crayfish
oh, tasty
the proper spelling is écrevisses
I had a crayfish party last saturday.
it was a bit strange to see a group of 100% japanese people singing Finnish folk songs
14:42
at a Frenchman's house :) that's one of my favorite things about the modern world
Hmm, not in my house actually :p
Well, that day started really well
then an unrelated friend offered me to join a ponzi scheme
15:01
Joining such a thing is not a good idea, unless you live in a Hilbert hotel.
They are clearly aiming at people with low income/ low education level and promise both quick and long term benefits
In this case it's not a matter or who goes on the top of the pyramid
It's just finding more people to get a broader base...
no hope to even break even, must be completely blinded to put a single ¥ in it
This kind of things seems quite popular in Japan tho
It's not the first time someone ask me to join

@kimholder So Avaiation graduated, and Space did not? Hmmph.
@geoffc hm. Q per day currently 7.4, but they've sustained 8 for over a year now. Also 3x the visits per day.
we'll get there...
I really like their design ;)
