well, it IS like 3 hours from Toronto. But hello! Toronto is on the north shore of a small body of water called LAKE ONTARIO. if I want to get to the other side, I kinda have to drive 3 hours either way.

I mean it's a border crossing. by definition people are going to cross the border there. I'm just glad I knew the name of the place I was going. When I go shopping in Niagara Falls or Buffalo I have no idea where I'm going, I just roam around.

I can't imagine how incensed she would have been if I didn't know where I was going to go. imagine! just driving around and shopping!

anyway it's like that EVERY TIME I enter the country.

contrast with the situation in Austria, where they asked me "where are you from?" and I said "Canada" and they stamped my passport and that was IT.

Many cats are also very affectionate and soft and do hilarious things (because they have very simple minds). @TRiG Well, the flag is older than the monarchy. It was a national flag when we were still a republic. An orange pennant is hung next to the flag on events that concern the House of Orange.
