@tchrist by which you mean the hundreds of millions who live in your immediate vicinity. I, and the people I hear every day, normally use the possessive forms with our present participles. You can neither prevent our speaking this way, nor tell us that we are not speaking English when we do so.
I created accounts on all sites one day cos I didn't like having to (a) log in to my openId (b) allow the site access to my email (c) merge with SE profile whenever I wanted to post on some meta.
(My SE is always logged in, but this isn't always the case with my openids)
