Does anyone know of a good online thesaurus? I've used http://thesaurus.com/ and http://www.merriam-webster.com/. Especially something that's good with phrases, figures of speech or idioms.
I read in the news paper it describes the word as long haul. With in my knowledge, I understood the meaning could be
a long distance
a long period of time
Is either correct? Could you please suggest a correct definition?

Evolution is amazing really. If we hadn't evolved clocks, then we wouldn't be able to move in circles. Our circular motion is what sets us apart from all other animals, except for the now extinct dodo which is recorded as moving in circles by the explorers of the 19th century. It's is believed that it's extinction is down to not having clocks to govern the circles.
@Cerberus the hypothesis goes that they evolved something like a clock, but with a faulty mechanism that continually sped up. They eventually drilled themselves into the ground.

@izx I don't mean to be rude, but I think SE requires that a question display some effort from the OP, and it is not meant for low-quality questions and answers. So I think it is fair to close poorly formatted questions if you get the impression that the OP really belongs to a different world and has not taken the time to think about how he could make his question clear and readable.
