I attempted to solve a problem for a friend who wanted to carry a watter bottle around at work. I googled "water bottle holster" and the first hit revealed a veritable cornucopia of water bottle holsters.
I had no idea science had been so hard at work bringing water bottle holsters to the masses.
I'm almost sad I have no real need for one.

I heard the expression "shed a new light on problem" many times. Recently I heard "shed problem in a new light". Is this correct and idiomatic?
I was unfamiliar with this passive use of shed. I only knew the active use "the sun sheds light..."

Why do English teachers like to ruin good books? TKAM is a wonderful book but I hate it as my teacher made us memorize every last detail and analyze it twice.
