@RegDwigнt Excellent. And I would like to hear her master class on "handling disappointment" as well, should she ever put it up on YouTube.
"Our job is to put the audience in dream state." Couldn't have said it better myself, as my gravatar will bear out.

@RegDwigнt BTW, you tweened me at the wrong time here. My next comment relates to my previous, not your tween.

@Robusto if I tweened you not at the wrong time, it by definition wouldn't be tweening. It would be a litotes.
But we all make mistakes, so don't get your acrostic in a chiasmus.
@Robusto Say yu, say me, say it together, naturally.
Yume yume yume, we got songs in this room, eh.

Q: “Dictionarial” analysis

blackenedA given sentence may be analyzed in many ways. For example, grammatical analysis would, in principle, would analyze from grammatical point of view. Suppose I am analyzing a word (a concept). And I start by its dictionary definition and analyze only in that regard. What would the word "grammatica...

Q: What is the part of a bottle called where the liquid comes out?

Cold_ClassI'm writing an academic work about pouring liquids with bottles. The different parts of the bottle are very important, because I need to distinguish between the point at the bottom, middle and top of a bottle. But when I looked up "bottle top" it seems to be the thing that we screw on a bottle. S...

Is it just me or is "TV and video game writer" more likely to refer to a journalist than someone writing for TV and video games?
How does one write for video games?
Video games have scripts that someone needs to write. Although the style of writing is probably very different from TV, which makes me think journalist.
ok, makes sense then
15:13
Yeah.
@NotThatGuy Quite possibly!
At least it will most likely not refer to the person writing the code for the games.
15:31
Yeah, "video game writer" is not "someone who writes video games" - that must confuse people at parties.
not to mention "a writer of video games" versus "a writer for video games"
Argh!
I know, I know. That why they keep voting to keep my "of" question closed.

Q: A word for someone willing to make sacrifices or drastic decisions

user306556I am looking for a word for someone who is willing to make sacrifices or go to extreme lengths in order to get what they want. This is less about how badly they want something and more about how they are constantly prepared to make a tough decision. I'm looking for something more than just "deter...
