@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 Such laws are good. But somehow parliaments don't make enough of such laws, or they don't work well enough, since conflicts of interest etc. are rampant.
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 Any my point was that centralisation on such a large scale might result in more corruption. And I am not in favour of no coöperation at all. So I don't know where I stand: somewhere in the middle. Of course I thought admitting Greece and Italy to the Eurozone was a mistake from the beginning. But our Minister of Finance was the only one against them, and he had to eventually give in to the rest of Europe, or be kicked out of the Zone.
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 That shouldn't be possible. It is already terrible that Google can do so. Remind me to turn that off; I keep forgetting that I should.
So there is a Forbes article about how not to buy minifigures. And it doesn't mention just feeling the bags to see what figure is inside, which is what everybody does and which is super reliable.
I wonder if the bees can be trained for each new minifig series, or do they need to be bred anew? And instead of dancing, can they buzz their wings in an approximation of the sound? zzzzzzhot-zzzzzdogz zzzmanz
Also, special care needs to be taken that they are honestly reporting the bee girl, and not trying to steal that one.
A fake tchrist would say "I'm tchrist", which I can assure you the other has said or will say when the time comes.
Also, is it weird to use "double-faced" instead of "two-faced"? My friend corrected me when I used "double-faced" but I looked it up in a dictionary and seems to mean exactly what I was using it for.
I've never heard anyone say "double-faced" when they meant "two-faced" as in "deceitful"
My intuition is that most uses of "double-faced" will be for things with two literal faces.
n-grams shows that both phrases are roughly equally popular but when you drill into the results, you find a lot of literally-double-faced-objects in the double-face results.
So @Cerberus it seems that nVidia built the recall software into the latest software update. So it's not clear that they had a feature for remotely-deactivating the tablets, nor what the limits of that feature are. It appears that they made this feature so that they could avoid having to actually collect all the defective tablets. It's surprising and somewhat wasteful that they're not refurbishing them.
