@ABeautifulMind What you can do as a total opposite to that is go back through the chat transcript and star things you like that no one else has, but older than say the oldest thing on the star board (holy crap I didn't get that until now). That way you will have starred things, but nobody else will notice. ever.

What's this burning heat thing? I've only ever experienced that when snow gets in my gloves. at first it is obviously cold, but then the burning starts.

I'm trying to make a game robot, that will search for the best move possible. At each step there's 4 possible moves, I can assign a score after each move and tell which move earns the best score, but it can go deeper, and making 4 children moves for those 4 moves. Now how can I decide what will be the best next move if I have a tree like this:

@crl follow the game tree. depth first or breadth first or 'best' first. also alpha beta pruning, or branch and bound. wiki them all. er..jinx on what Matt said.

@crl you should stick to the kittens/puppies debate. It will in the end be more fulfilling.

trying to learn for Alpha–beta pruning, doesn't care of about pets :p

start first with minmax game tree. alpha beta pruning is a strategy for that.
