@TheodoreBroda It's not that he does nothing. That's part of it. He also obstructs progress. Cuts things that don't need cutting. All of his ideas that involve spending are bad. really bad.
Like, one year, he and his brother (a city councillor) decided to scrap the waterfront-renewal plan (in progress for decades) for a single-sourced deal with a foreign developer. The keystone of the plan? A ferris-wheel, and a monorail.

Anyway, when his major new idea was something that was already thoroughly mocked by the Simpsons (in one of their best episodes ever), it seemed pretty clear that he was going to be the worst mayor ever.
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 Yes, he won the title of worst mayor ever in a landslide. I just hope he doesn't win another term as well. The more terrible a politician is, the more likely to be elected, it seems. I had just assumed he did nothing, that's how the media made it sound.

He was recently recorded as saying that he couldn't support our right-wing provincial party on account of their leader was present at the gay flag raising.

@TheodoreBroda Actually, it is*kind of new. In the very late 70s, a drug manufacturer came out with an outstanding new treatment for endometriosis. It was a game changer, and I mean, an absolute a godsend in the treatment of a painful and destructive disease. Women who had to have hysterectomies were able to take a *pill instead, and many were able to conceive afterwards (an inconceivable event before treatment.)
The cost was $100/day (4 pills, if I recall correctly) for 6-12 months. There was a furor in the medical community unlike I'd ever seen before. If I'm remembering correctly (I'm not sure I am) the government made the pharm company decrease it's prices. Many years (decades) passesd before a medication of this cost appeared on the market.
@TheodoreBroda You are growing up in a time where drug companies are out of control. Blame your legislators, who accept bribes and listen to lobbyists. But it wasn't always that way. (My $.02) For all the greed involved in Big Pharma, they have made lives immeasurably better. At far, far less than $1000 per pill.

See, I'm an in chat every single day and I don't feel involved in any of that at all. So I wouldn't call that drama happening here. That's drama happening to some particular people that would happen anywhere else.

Females brains areas dedicated to reason under perform (up to decade and is some cases more) and it is social acceptable for them to act childish.
