@NayeemMansoori I'm assuming, since "ever" is usually syntactically 'integrated' into the sentence, the meaning would not be so clear if you consulted a dictionary, but anyway, 1) Have you consulted a dictionary? 2) Where have you encountered "ever", that keeps giving you doubts? 3) Can you provide more detail on what exactly confuses you?

A puzzling question.
I've only just learned this new expression and I haven't even begun using it. Can you give me more expressions that mean the exact same thing. I can then add it to the pile of things that I dismiss as soon as I learn that they exist.
