2:00 PM
I prefer non-vulgarity myself to a rather large extent in real life as well, at least compared to my friends.

ahhh

@Boob No no I didn't mean that... but you reminded me the movie that @RegDwight mentioned

@Cerberus Well, that says more about your friends than about yourself.

:992274: And here I thought you were thoroughly familiar with the Vulgate.

@boob: i guess you should change your display name

2:00 PM
That's a toothpaste.

@RegDwight Ouch! Well you cannot accuse me of vulgarity...

@Miss I don't care what you guess, but It's not good as opposed to miss?

@Robusto are you aware that your nickname is an italian word, by the way? :D

@Rob: Fix your reply arrow?

@Cerberus Precisely. :P

2:02 PM
@Alenanno — And what does it mean in Italian?

@Reg: This is confusing; but I have a hunch that this is a stone best left unturned.

@Alenanno His name is a cigar.

My name is an artifical construct. It has no meaning but what I give it.

@Alenanno The bad meaning , please ;)

@Robusto Stout; tough; I see even robust exists?

2:02 PM
Yes.

hmm

@Alenanno how boring.

lol

I think it exists in most EU languages.

@RegDwight not my fault :D

2:03 PM
German robust?
Dutch has it at least.

@Alenanno Did you know that some of the letters in your name exist in mine?

All these things are true; however, if they exist at all, it is because I bootstrapped them into existence. Ten miles each way, through the snow, uphill in all directions.

What's your suggestions for a new nickname?

anyways thanks you people and enjoy with boob

@RegDwight in sequence or randomly? lol
@Miss lol!

2:04 PM
Perhaps "Strap-on"?
No.

@Miss Best part(y)ing call ever.
@Alenanno Yes.

1 min ago, by Miss
anyways thanks you people and enjoy with boob

@RegDwight It wasn't a yes-no question :D

Which boob?

What about... "Coy, chaste girl"?

2:05 PM
@Robusto You forgot the onion. Certainly you wore an onion on your belt.

Oh not the onions again...

@Alenanno However, it was a yes-no answer.

ahh yes

Don't make me post links to the Joke article again.

@RegDwight don't you dare

2:06 PM
Boob is talking to itself.

@RegDwight I'm obviously talking to Cerberus

Look up obviously.

Boob is ambiguous there by the way

good luck to you all with boob
see ya bye

@Miss I was good one time, not every second
enjoy miss

2:08 PM
@RegDwight — This is a good time to play Cake's "Comfort Eagle"

Bye @Miss!

yes bye all

@Robusto Is there ever a bad time?

@RegDwight — Nope.
"He is calling you Dude!!"
"You can dress up like a sultan in your onion-head hat."

2:12 PM
Um, Boob, there's a sandbox.

Hmmm, why it doesn't work
eh, yes

Sandbox

Where you can play with chat features (except flagging) and ch...

@Boob What was it?

@RegDwight I'm upsetting you?

whats use of sandBox chat room?

2:14 PM
Umm, it's almost never a good time to listen to the theme song from Titanic.

@Alenanno Your email's code

@Boob Kinda. Please follow the helpful Help link, check out the sandbox, or ask a mod (in this order) before trying out random stuff x times in a row.

There's an explanation of its usage
@RegDwight a mod?
I've asked

You asked "Which boob?"
"Which boob?" is not quite the same as "Can I reply to several posts at once?"

:|

2:20 PM
Hey did you know the Pentagon actually has special programs to train dogs and cats for recon and stuff?
Pretty weird.
Especially the cats surprised me.

Very informative A++++ would read again.

Thank you!
Cats are incredible animals.
The things they can do...

I'm off to Skeptics, asking if they can provide more background information on CATS.

this will surely improve the quality of that sorry site

2:26 PM
So what's up with Skeptics? Why does it seem to cause so much upheaval?

My best friend's death metal band was called Upheaval.
That's why!

@RegDwight 100% awesome

I see!

@JSBangs I still have a demo tape (tape!) right here.

So they were a skeptics band, all chanting "God may not exist, the world may not exist, you may not exist"?

2:29 PM
does it have a hand-drawn cover image that looks like this?

@Cerberus Kind of, except that the chanting part went more like "AGHHHHHHHHRRRRRHGGGGRHRRRRGHHHHHRHG". In German.

Haha cute.
Gotta love that German grunting!
Very existentalistic.

@JSBangs Actually, the cover image features an armadillo.
And the B side is called Brmadillo.

@RegDwight that's not very metal
though Brmadillo is cute

Chitine, rather?
Bone? What is it.

2:32 PM
@Cerberus i'm pretty sure armadillos are mostly hair. now if they were a hair metal band that might be ok

Haha, a hair metal band? You mean like Metallica before they cut their hair, or like the musical?

i mean like this hair metal:

Good gracious... what are those head-eating animals?

@JSB.

that totally gets a star
ok, but why does a german metal band name itself with an english word?

2:40 PM
I can ask them.

in english, we just used english words with extra umlauts

I mean, it's not like nobody has ever wondered about the name, but I don't recall if there was any answer other than "we just have it, now shut up" or something.

Aufruhr has a nice sound to it
Umbruch as well (these being the first two entries that the interwebs give me for translating "upheaval")

The first one sounds like a teeny band.
Umbruch is better, but too Neue-Deutsche-Welle-like.

really? not to non-deutschophone me

2:43 PM

2:50 PM
@Cerberus Sentimental in the sense,lot of feelings and too Emotional

> I continue to believe that religion brings the potential for a great many good things. I could probably continue going through the motions, except that I believe in morality and honesty, and I hate pretending to be something that I'm not.

Well, as a sentimental person myself I would say that your premise is flawed. I have no trouble whatsoever adapting to new situations, places, people.

My advice would be to hold those emotions back at first, and see whether his new environment will appreciate his sentimentality or not.
Take it slow.
@Reg: You do not seem excessively emotional or outspoken so far...

Just why am I not surprised that Cerberus would recommend being slow...

I know right!

2:53 PM
@Cerberus I have a friggin Outspoken badge. And I would have the Emotional one, too, if it existed.

Hah well then the badges are far too easy!

@Cerberus: Waw, Nice Advice

Okay, so I had a question about the use of the gerund after continue. Somehow this one strikes me as odd, but I don't know why:
> I continue to believe that religion brings the potential for a great many good things. I could probably continue going through the motions, except that I believe in morality and honesty, and I hate pretending to be something that I'm not.

Holding back emotions is potentially damaging. It's not nice advice at all. :P
It's my party and I cry if I want to!

@Cerberus: Suppose his not appreciating Sentiment , then it would be diffcult for those people
@Cerberus: Will you appreciate Sentiment in a Person

2:56 PM
Okay, guys, get a room.

Well it is a matter of personal preference. I for one see no problem at all in holding back emotions. I do it all the time, or I'd hit, bully, and fondle people all around me all the time.

People, this is one of those rare sites/chats where ESL does not mean what you think it means.

@RegDwight WHAT DOES ESL REFERS TO

Emotions-Sentiments Learning?

Ege sex location.

2:57 PM
Normally it means English as a Second Language.
Ege haha.
I have no idea what a suitable solution for the acronym would be in this case.

Good i learn many things here, Very Happy and feeling now more re-energized

Good!

That's how we roll.

Eggzactly.

XD

2:59 PM
