@its_me Okay, well. Here goes. For a basic one bedroom apartment, that doesn't suck entirely, probably 1300-1700 a month. Then, for food, depending on how much and what you eat, probably around 400. Utilities will be up to another 200 per month. Transportation depends on whether or not you want a car; on that budget, you could buy a cheap one, and hopefully your gas will not be over 300 a month; but the car could cost up to 3000 dollars.

I think you'd need about € 1200–1500 here for everything, if you're frugal.

Or more, if you want something that's nicer than crap, or a new one.

Mobile phone can be as cheap as you want, if you never call anyone. Health insurance € 100, but I don't know how that works for foreigners.
