@HodofHod By the way, in writing my own userscript, I figured out a safer way to use a page's jQuery
window.$
you can then do something like var $ = window.$ or you can pass that into the function as a param that's assigned to $

injecting your script into the page can be unsafe
versus using the "unsafeWindow" that comes with GreaseMonkey/Chrome
when you inject, you lose that automatic namespacing so you might (unintentionally) call or assign a function/variable on the page and the page might call or assign one in your script
