I have mentioned some past deleted questions a few days ago.
Is there an image for you that epitomizes mathematics? (Wayback Machine) is a similar type of question as the jokes thread.
Although there is a big difference in the score at the time of deletion (150 vs. 22).

FWIW, even though I did vote to delete the whole thread (mainly because I mistakenly thought this might put an end to matters) I would be happy with the final moderator vote being reversed, if possible, if the votes of myself, Strickland, Rickard et al could also still stand — Yemon Choi 2 days ago
With the caveat that I don't fully understand the mechanics of "uncasting the final moderator vote," I will say that I like fedja's suggestion of undeleting the thread and then letting the community decide whether to delete the thread. Like some others, I'm slightly concerned about "ideologically-motivated deletions" (for lack of a better term), but I'm more concerned that the community can't undelete the thread now, simply because Todd Trimble did something that even he now acknowledges was a mistake. If that acknowledged mistake can be undone then I'm in favor of doing so. — Timothy Chow yesterday
I highly doubt that mods can do this. (But maybe somebody proves me wrong.)
In any case, you can vote for this feature request if you consider it useful: Allow community votes to undelete Q/A that a moderator has deleted (as I've mentioned before).
Just to clarify, I think that the mods cannot simply invalidate the final vote. What they can do is to undelete the question (which cancels all delete votes). But probably this is clear to everybody.

@MartinSleziak This thread is mentioned also in david grinberg's post.
> he first, at least to my knowledge, was the deletion of a question about "what image epitomizes mathematics to you" after this image became the highest upvoted answer.
