New to Blender here. How can I make glowing lines?
Scalia
@JDługosz which render engine
JDługosz
@Scalia Preferably EEvEE
Scalia
@JDługosz the pokemon?

JDługosz
@Scalia I don't know what you mean.
Scalia
@JDługosz Blender has 2 built in render engine, Blender Render, and Cycles render
which one are you using
JDługosz
01:05
@Scalia I want to use the EEVEE render engine, unless it can't do that for some reason.
Scalia
oh lol
i didnt even know ehy made a new render engine lmao
JDługosz
@Scalia Performance.
Scalia
this is def a question for someone else
JDługosz
Does it matter which rendering engine is in use? How would you make what is essentially a 2-dimentional line in the modeling?
@Scalia Check out (for example)
creativeshrimp.com/30-blender-eevee-demos.html
Scalia
@JDługosz well i mean it is definitely render specific
if you want to make a 2d line tho, the fastest way is shift>a>single vertex
tab into edit mode
and then e to extrude
but it wont render
and certainly wont glow

@JDługosz Try making a thin plane or a tube (e.g. with the skin modifier). Then give it an emissive material and enable bloom
