Modelling living things has always been the thing i'm worst at

I could never do it, attempting to make a low poly skeleton now

Based of the rule luka can't make living things well, it is also failing, currently having issues with the hip bone.

@Gwenn ok so I have used Disk2vhd free (if it works, great on one machine it will not work, but if it does, then you are nearly done.) However for most of the machines VMed I have used VMware vCenter Converter that usually makes a good VM.

@Gwenn What version of windows are you copying? Windows will (probably) insist on being activated, (sometimes just click on the activate button in the system part of the control panel.) If you keep the vm running on the same physical computer, there should not be a problem. Its odd sometimes Win7 will come up with a "This operating system is not genuine" message and the background will be black, but everything works.

You need a POINT light, not a light that is indistinguishable from all sides.

Just render one image and you'll be surprised!

Yep.

Small, but fast and at a medium firing rate.

Something like 1.6x the firerate of Quake III's RL.

Better for long-range.

And there is a secondary mode with slower, but homing rockets...

Q: How to render a 3D model like a blue sci-fi hologram?

In IronMan 3, Eve-Online, or Star Trek, 3D models render in a bluish fashion. Examples: Is there a simple way to achieve this result with my own models? I typically use Blender, but if it is easier in another software package, I'm pretty agnostic...
